So i've purchace FMT18, IOS version, and started messing around with the game.
Been using the 4123 DM Wide formation since forever i think, and in the previous years always used a CM(At) in the midfield as the player who arrive in the box for support to my forward.
This year, with the introduction of the Mezzala i though that this could be a good role to used instead of the CM(At).
So, in past i used to play like this:

A Winger and Mezzala is a good combination. While the Winger will occasionally drift into the half-spaces, he doesn't naturally occupy them. The Inside Forward, on the other hand, has an inclination to cut inside with the ball, into the path of the Mezzala. This combination will prevent the Winger being isolated out wide and will give him a safer passing option if the cross isn't available.
Personally, I wouldn't play a Mezzala with an Inside Forward. It seems counter-intuitive to play the
