Help Needed for 1st Match Preperation

Recommended Posts

Hey Guys,

I have a few questions to get me going on my Rushden & Diamonds (BSP Conference League) game (I am playing FM08 but i am using FM09 tactics).

I am about to play my first friendly and haven't a clue where to start here.

I have been thinking that as i am playing lower league - it may be advisable to use the tactical instructions used by crouchaldinho..'SIMPLICITY - How to make a SOLID & SIMPLE 4-4-2 set'. Would you agree? ....Or should i use the more advanced tactical instructions such as Tyler's or Knap's etc..

Here is my 1st team eleven:

Ruddy GK (Strong, Determined)

Tieltjes - DR (Determined, Pacey, Agile)

Van Heiningen - DL (Determined, Pacey, Agressive, Decisive)

Svensson - DC (Strong, Brave, Determined, Concentrated Teamworker with Stamina)

Fresi - DC (Agressive, Agile,)

Van der Pennen - MR (Determined, Good Passing, Teamworker, Fairly strong but very slow)

Scarlett - ML (Pacey, hardworking teamworker -fair technical skills (i.e. 11-14 attributes)

Keizer - MC (Pacey, Stamina, Composed, Determined, Finisher, Technique)

Woodhouse - MC (Determined, Brave, Strong, Stamina)

Templeman - ST (Tall, Finisher, Determined, Flair, Strong)

Ebanks-Blake - ST (Pacey, Determined)

What kind of tactical instructions would you recommend for these players? (I have highlighted their main strengths as you can see above). In terms of Team mentality, i.e. tempo, passing, focus passing, defensive line etc..)

Also, with Opposition Instructions - is this important to use in lower level football leagues?

Any help would be appreciated.
