soundian Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 I had one in FM07, keeper booted it up the park and it bounced roundabout where a defender and an attacker were then carried on into the corner of the net. I didn't recognise the name of the scorer so put it down as an og. It wasn't until I was checking my players ratings after one of them picked up a knock that I saw the 1 next to my keepers name and it dawned on me that it was my player. Can't remember who i was now but i played that game a hell of lot and only ever so that once, I did not even know it was possible untill i saw it! Guest tholynski Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 on fm 2007 neil suullivan scored a free kick for me with leeds united. the thing was i didnt even select him for free kicks, he took it and smashed it into the back of the net. Wasnt to be repeated, van der sar scored against me in a charity shield game once as well, when he come up for a corner. Other than that, Jaaskalainen scored a goal kick against me with Paul Smith in goal for me. Absolutely gutted i was, i fined him a weeks wages for a poor performance. In that version, In dont understand why, Fabien Barthex has a hidden free-kick attribute of 20. After learning about this I play him as freekick taker and he scores regularly for me. I always 'attend' the World Cup Final on my game when it takes place, it's a tradition really. This time, it was 2010 and the final was between Spain and Mexico. Spain won 2-1 in the end but the Mexican keeper scored the opener from a long punt upfield. He took the ball in his own box and played it long.
