Patrick27
I'm in 2023 with Sunderland. I play a flat 4-4-2. I want one of my midfielders to play like Xabi Alonso does for Liverpool. Come short for the ball and then spread it out to the wingers ect. The player I've assigned to the role is good enough to fulfil this task. Mu problem is that I don't know how to set him so that he will play like this. Any ideas? Thanks in advance,
Zikerek
Hmm I think first thing u should make him as playmaker ;p then assign direct passing to him and good effort on CF. He is type of deep lying playmaker ;p U can also give him often long shoots
Patrick27
Thanks Zikerek. Will try this and set how things go. How about through balls, rarely, mixed, often?
Zikerek
rarely I think, but u can set mixed as well, it depends on your playing speed, if u want him to slow down tempo just use rarely, if u used to play fast football u should set mixed. ham_aka_stam
I would go with the following: quite a high mentality to allow attacking passes just below medium creative freedom direct passing lowish closing down (so he stays deep) tackling easy no FR no RWB no->mixed LS mixed->high TTB no crossin HUB Set as playmaker
