To answer your question: I don't scout the USA that much. Have only signed one player from there until now. I don't have MLS loaded, so maybe that has an effect on the quality of players in the lower US leagues as well. I am not really sure if you can sign under 18 players from the US. I guess that you can't (don't have FM open to check) sign players until they turn 18. It's either that or that they need to be drafted into a MLS side first, but that seems unlogical to me.
