The Academy DB - FM2009

This is a fantastic idea, and the potential Bradford team would be quite interesting. If you need any help with Bradford feel free to ask.

I would also suggest that players should be put in the team who they were with when they were 16, rather than Delph being at Bradford, Micah Richards at Oldham etc.

Ryan Giggs should be at Man City. Played there in the Youth set-up before the City academy was pulled.

He trained with them, and if NIresearcher should place every player with the club they first trained with I think he will have a impossible task infront of him. Even if Giggs trained with City there was never made a formal schoolboy contract (the same as todays academy contracts) between them, his first schoolboy contract was signed with United so he should be there. If he had signed with City, United couldn't have snapped him up the way they did, without City acemting it and receiving a transfer fee. Consider the schoolboy rules and transfer rules at that time it would have been almost impossible for United to sign him.

Wales Number One, Wales, Wales Number One

You must so regret letting him go!

Not sure about regret for letting him go as we didn't play him in the first team. Very highly rated young keeper.
