Still play fm11 but would love to update the data base to 2020

Not without investing a lot of time to edit it yourself. Usually you can find new data sets for last year's version and occasionally the two year old version in some online FM communities. Anything older than that is typically left behind.

@Ianbritten Fm2020 is currently free at the Epic games store, maybe pick  it up and see if you like  it?  It will cost nothing to try and then you will have a more recent database, and I am sure somebody will update it for the 2020/2021 season.
