Constantine
Honestly, i was struggling with getting into saves lately. Had lots of time since corona crisis begun, during which i've started multiple games but neither one stuck. Game after game, challenge after challenge, till something finally clicked and i'm finally two and a half seasons in, with my interest renewed and enthusiasm back on the levels it was when i managed Modena and Karlsruher in my one serious save this year. Taken a few screenshots as save went along so it's gonna take a little sorting but in time, we'll be all caught up in real time. It's another journeyman save. So original, i know. But those always work for me. So let's begin... Me at the start of this journey. Just for future reference. And i can't have an opening post without some image in it. Now, let me drown in coffee, as i sort through dozen of screenshots, before Champions League finals rolls in. Hopefully, i'll post something till then... Constantine
First call up i've got after being rejected by Atlético Sanluqueño C.F., Stade Olympique Choletais and Tuzlaspor A.Ş. Constantine
Andalusia, here we come... Since we're a B side, we have full access to Cadiz's facilities. They're great, no doubt about that, class at the level we currently are. $$$... But i have access to none of it. Caretaker manager picked up quite few points in the last two weeks so i need to make an impression straight away... Squad is pretty good, not gonna lie. Few outstanding players for this level in there. Previous manager shouldn't be doing this bad... Couple of them who i really like are: Solid. There's progress to be made but he's quite handy player to have. What's not to like? Lad can do anything. Except dribble. And push someone aside. Hands down best player we have. How he isn't in the first team, i've no idea... We'll lineup something like this for a start. And tweak things as we go... Pretty much standard stuff. Constantine
Cádiz C.F. B September, October & November 2019 Made my debut against Sevilla's B team. Early goal and victory clinched in the last minutes of first half. Perfect as it can get. Caretaker manager did most of the work for me; Before i signed up, he had quite a run and i just rode that wave of goodwill and picked up four straight victories before Recreativo brought us crashing down to Earth. Well deserved though... Quite a jump we've made.

Constantine
Cádiz C.F. B December 2019, January & February 2020 First transfer window at the helm and only one addition to the squad. Had that much money available in wage budget. PSG graduate boosted out strike force. Still pretty raw but he could develop into a good player someday. Our full squad now looks like this and (hopefully) it won't change till season's over. First team manager can pull players up anytime (and give us few in return but they can't be registered to play for us) so i truly hope he won't bother and will keep things as they are. Results wise, we did great. Stumbled a bit during January, lost to a club who previously rejected me (throw some salt into my wounds, sure, why not) but the boys picked themselves up as our promotion push continues... Constantine
The boys are terrific. Our good run spurred the board to offer me a new contract but... While it has been an interesting experience, i'm not really sure i love the lack of control and not being part of squad building. Playing with these limitations, using the best of what i've got is sure interesting but i love building teams from scratch, in my image so when this season's all wrapped up, i might say goodbye to the Yellow Submarine. Constantine
Cádiz C.F. B March 2020 Day or two after our final game of the month, we've got this one bit of good news. Cádiz C.F. S.A.D., the real one, also on the course for securing their place in play offs. So, theoretically, we could both move up divisions, together. There's a lot of football to be played, though... Constantine
Cádiz C.F. B April 2020 With two more games to go, everything remains in our hands. We need four points to secure the title and (probably) secure promotion to Segunda (Spanish 3rd division rules are weird). But even if we do achieve promotion, we'll be back here next year since our "parent" club is losing ground in promotion race. Heck, all we can do now is do our best in rest of the games and hope for a miracle. Edited August 24, 2020 by Constantine
Constantine
We did it!! With one game to go, we're champions of our group. Still haven't got message for promotion though... But got couple of others. As a cherry on top, the boys extended their record run for a little bit.
Constantine
Cádiz C.F. B May 2020 Great end to our season as we demolished Badajoz in the first half but kept our foot off the gas during second. Now, onto Play Offs. This is where it gets weird. The boys. Ones that are with me for the moment. Some of the best ones, IMO, are: Wasn't always at his best but when we needed him the most, he performed. Rock at the back, irreplaceable since coming back from injury. Personal favorite of mine. Arguably best player we have. For some reason, first team manager refuse to use him. Honestly, i'm baffled, he's brilliant.

Constantine
The Lions has been slain!! We're through to the Play Offs Final and got promoted (but not really) to the Segunda. Game keeps telling me we got promoted though that can't be the case since our first team failed to qualify for Play Offs. This one was nice, though... In the grand Final, we're off to face against Barca B.
Constantine
Not exactly the triumphant ending i was hoping for for my final game as Cadiz B manager but we just couldn't do more. Lads were knackered, there were no more gas in their tanks as damn schedule was hectic. Nevertheless, i'm proud of each every one of them.
Constantine
Cádiz C.F. B The End It was nice while it lasted. Pretty happy with the past season. Players were fantastic. To the last man. But i need more control. More say in transfers. I don't want to be shackled. Good times. But i'm looking forward to the future.
Constantine
Ouch... That actually hurt. I mean, considering where they've been last year, they should at least take into consideration manager who got Cadiz B promoted (but not really... cause rules). Constantine
Finally, someone responded and called me back. Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. They offered me half of what i had at Cadiz but that is the price i was willing to pay for freedom! (bit over dramatic, aren't i?) Setup is what you would've expected from a newly promoted side. There's work to be done here. Lots of work. Anyway, La Hoya is everything i could've hoped for. Pretty much a blank slate. Backroom staff needs building up from scratch. As does playing squad. We have only two players under contracts, with one i will add straight away. The rest will be released. Summer window will be exciting. Anyhow, three players i mentioned, the ones i plan to keep... Decent striker and current captain. He's not terrible but he is more fit for a backup at this level. Pretty much same as above can be said about Morros. Backup fullback, whose contract will cost too much to terminate so he's staying. One player from the bunch i would offer a contract to... He's quick, decent crossing and can play on both sides. Decent enough to keep... Finances are stable. Quite a bit space in wage budget. Let the rebuild begin... Actually, build(ing). Whatever.
Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. No outgoing transfers, obviously, players we had, even clubs from division below wouldn't touch them. On the other end... Well, we were busy. Really, really busy. It's gonna be a real pain in the ass to show you guys all of these... But here we go. One that opened the floodgates. Most likely Ribeiro's partner in the heart of the defense. Our new #1. Talented RB, going to be Pascual's understudy for now. Great looking Bulgarian left back. And possibly my first option on the left. Starting RB. Can cover a plethora of positions. Not too bad of a player too... Noticed him way back while i was at Cadiz but he wouldn't budge to sign. So happy he changed his mind. Great player. Decent enough for rotation. Not exactly attacking midfielder press consider him to be. Ubeira will take him under his wing. From my former club, perhaps the best Andorran player ever. Can see him breaking all kinds of records for his country. Biggest signing for La Hoya. Ever. Such a coup that we got him. Pretty good player. Could become a really good one, should he work on those mental attributes a bit. He's gonna spearhead out attack. Complete player. Should bang them in for fun at this level. A lot of similarities with Moreno... Phew... That's a lot. We're looking to sign couple more, to fill out the squad. Some friendlies were played. Don't really care about opponents, i usually choose weaker ones so players could get to know each other, sort out their fitness and win some for morale. This isn't even our final form. You guys can see that we got Aquino on trial. Brilliant little player, had him rampaging for my Betis side way, way back. Just waiting on him to lower his demands and he'll be ours. That's about it for now. Cheers.
Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. We weren't the busiest side in Spanish football?? That doesn't sound right... Unless they only count top two divisions. Anyway, we added four new players which completed our squad and stops our wheeling/dealing at 19. Or exact number of transfers it would take Ed Woodward dozen of seasons to make. Let's see who were our deadline day acquisitions. It was well worth the wait. Aquino'll easily walk in our starting XI. Not as good as he used to be but he'll do well. Decent player who'll push for Ribeiro and Ruiz's places. Few quirks to iron out but he should do well at this level. Finally managed to get backup keeper, courtesy of Cagliari. Now let's see what these lads can do. Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. February & March 2021 At least we have Play Offs secured now. A quantum of solace, really, i was secretly dreaming of winning this league for second consecutive year but it seems like Las Palmas is running away with it. Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. Pretty much our starting XI, once you add Jurado instead of Ahamada. The boys were absolutely brilliant. But, as always, there are some who stand out. Raul is... Phenomenal is an understatement. He bloody crushed the league and lead us toward promotion. And yet, he wasn't league's top scorer. Mental. Any other year, he's winning this easily. But he wouldn't be there without this lad. 23 assists and 11 goals, ridiculous numbers. It was well worth the wait for him to sign... Albanian maestro. He does lack numbers Aquino or Raul put in but his influence is immeasurable. Finances are stable and with promotion secured, our balance can only go up. And to wrap this up, bunch of record that were broken this season. They sound ridiculous. Which is why i decided to post them. Edited August 26, 2020 by Constantine
Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. A whole new side brought in as we prepare for a start of our Segunda division life. Couldn't get brilliant Raul on for another year so Diego should jump in straight into our starting XI as his replacement. Former FM wonderkid, still pretty decent player though i'm not sure he's a step up on Asencio. Finally got a left footed center back. Rough around the edges but should give Stamatov a run for his money. Dani got a bit of competition too... Will slot in nicely next to Ahmetaj in our centre mid. Loanee from Man City will compete with Diego for striker spot. He's arguably better than Ahmetaj and Felip but will be used as a rotational player. I just prefer my own in starting lineup to loanees. Does this name sound familiar? It should be. He was my favorite while i was managing Cadiz. They run his contract down and of course i picked him up. Waited a long time for this one, as he didn't even want to negotiate with us. Luckily, as transfer window was nearing to a close, he broke down and we got him. Let's take a look at the current state of the squad. Really pleased with that. As i am with this. Hopefully board will finally allow me some upgrades, our training and youth facilities are grim. We had a good warm up. Segunda can't start soon enough...
Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. August, September, October & November 2021 Tough start but we got back on our feet rather quickly, started picking up points, bit by bit and we're currently tied at the top with Mallorca. Couldn't have wished for a better start. Also, our defenders are scoring quite a lot. Bloody hell. Diego's still finding his feet. Toualzi seems like a better choice at the moment. Also also, we had our first sale. We actually sold player. For money. Ribeiro complained about his playing time and him being a backup now, i was happy to let him go. Decided not to stretch our way budget any more so i promoted a kid we got in previous intake. Not gonna set the world on fire but he's decent enough to jump in when needed. There's a lot about him that i like but he's... Diamond in the rough. Yes, i'm quoting Aladdin. Edited August 27, 2020 by Constantine

Constantine
La Hoya Lorca C.F. January 2022 Beginning of the new 2022 wasn't kind to us. Two defeats in the league. Out of the Cup. At the hands of my former employer, nonetheless. But things seems to get better. Got back at Malaga for trashing us. Sneaked past Extremadura. Still in the top half. Still in Play Off places. Remember that kid i promoted from our youth squad? Off to La Liga he goes. For a pretty nice fee. Record for us. And we've got 50% off his next sale. In some other saves i'd never sold him. Would've developed him. But right now, i was more interested in finished product. And we've got one from Mother Russia. Meet Ilja Gaponov. Former Spartak Moscow defender. Easily the best defender in our squad. Him and Amo will get to hang out together a lot from now on. That was the only piece of business done. No other arrivals or departures.
