ADP vs WTM

Recommended Posts

ADP wide is a midfielder placed in a wider position, they   create chances for himself and other players searching between defensive lines from wide positions.
Typicallly then defend when without the ball.

A WTM will receive long balls in wide areas, and suited to someone with aerial abilities against wingbacks/dl/dr as they can typically be shorter players. They then hold the ball up until support arrives.
If you have them set to attack he'll sit tight with the DR/DL/wingback to get the ball and hold it up. So if you are under pressure and clear long balls to the flank he can hold it up for you.
When in support mode he will be deeper trying to draw out the wingback so they are out of position so they can exploit the space behind them by holding up the ball and looking for a team mate.
