"Non-turkic players in squad"

Any idea which league uses or has previously used this rule irl? I'm guessing Turkey or Turkmenistan, and that it includes the 6 countries that show up when you google Turkic countries?

edit: ah, from a search I can see it's a regular part of playing in Turkey. Any other strange rules like that from the editor you've wondered about seeing in action?

I did a google search and found a forum where the Turkic country citizenship was mentioned for the second level of Turkey. The post was from 2013 though.
