Game stops processing and crashes on specific date

My save keeps crashing on 20 November 2033.

I have tried various things, but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I have also contacted SEGA customer support, which also didn't help. What happens is that when I press "continue" the save goes to the weekly loading screen, takes hours trying to process and eventually crashes by sending me an application error.

My current game version is 20.4.1-1363262
My approximate player count is at 192,000 (which has been exceeded throughout the save), my computer performance is at 2.5 stars, whereas the estimated game speed is at 0.5 stars. Although at 0.5 stars, everything runs smoothly and at a very good pace.

Yes, I do have custom add-ons installed (logos and facepacks). I did remove them, but that also didn't change anything... I also deleted the cache and preference folders, but again, that didn't do anything either. 

I will upload the save to the link you provided. The name of the save is "The Big Dream II"

Is the game crashing during the long process? Is it leaving behind a crash dump? If so, could you attach it?

I'm experience the freeze but not the crash you mentioned.

Yeah, the crash follows after being frozen for an hour or so... I will try to get you the crash dump

I've logged this over with the Dev team and I'll feedback any response I get. 

I can't see any way around it in the meantime however, so unfortunately you may need to play a new save until there is a response - really sorry.

I have already started a new save. Still hope this save can be saved though, as I really got into it and really dedicated. Hope to have a positive response soon!

Nothing new I'm afraid Nik.

If I'm honest, because this has only affected one user, yourself, I can't promise a fix will be released via update any time soon - we work on a severity basis, decided by how many users have been affected.

I do understand that you won't try to fix the issue for just one user, but I have heard and read that many face similar issues, so talking down the issue seems to me as avoiding the problem. There are loads of people who were stuck with their save and couldn't progress a save which was otherwise apparently normal, forcing people to end that specific save due to technical issues. To me there are clearly bugs within the code of the game... Error applications are not something new with FM, I wonder why they keep on happening? (Many in the past and many also complain about bugs in FM 20). Since my issue clearly is an error based on the technical side and code within the game, and for the money we keep paying for every new release, I, as well as many others, should be demanding this getting fixed...

To me this sounds like it's known how the issue I have can be fixed, but nothing will be done cause it apparently only happened to me. 

I can provide you with case studies too... There are plenty (even within this forum...)

To clarify what I mean: There is a bug in your database, not ours. Other people have experienced crashes, yes, but the game specific crashes won't have occurred on the 20.4.1. database which we have released to the public. For someone to experience the same crash you have, they'd have to make the same 57,954 db editor changes // download your database to use themselves. 

I don't mean to come across as avoiding the problem, or downplaying the severity - you are a paying customer and you have a right to play the game. But the game that we provided to you won't experience the crash discussed in this thread if you don't alter it.

That's why we can't/won't release a fix straight away.

ok, but why allow alterations to happen if the code, or the game as a whole, can't handle them?
