As a youth, they want to develop their game as quickly as possible so they can move on to a better situation either being a better club, better contract or both. Against Lyon we deserved to lose but we played with ten after 55 minutes. Top 7 is the ambition now. Psg are not really dominating. Libero Kanté is the player of the month. The central defender I wanted to sign in the summer (who wanted twice the wage I would pay, then joined Rennes for a wage I offered him previously) insisted on being played as a libero if he signed for me. A nice mix of personalties. Let's calculate and rank them now. I signed all the players for my experiments / tracking (as promised @_Ben_ ) and I ranked them on Overall attributes rating(s). Top 3 players : Mohamed Guèye - Landry Colin - Ibrahima Soumah Forget one player who should have got the B tag.. i gave him the B+ tag : Nouredinne Belhajjam Don't know what to expect from this intake. i'll monitor them for three years and try to focus on all of them. Youth classes tracker This was the class of 2020 . The second youth intake gave me better personalities , a higher average DNA , overall and role rating . Youth development tracker Top 15 youth intake players (ranked on their overall rating at the intake) 10 players of the second class are entering the top 15 with M.Guèye taking the first spot. Doesn't mean anything for the future because one of the best players from the first intake would only be on the 21t place in this list.. he seems to be a quick and good learner. This class developed ok , with Yann Fabre growing 16,68% , Stéphane Buisset 10,57 % and Arnaud Couturier 9,81% . I trained his def.positioning till 14/11/20, i changed this to crossing and i'm going to keep this focus till the end of the season. Changed his focus on passing( technique,vision and passing should be improved in the next months) I'm going to focus on his quickness because he lacks pace. At the moment we have Fabre and Lallemant in the b squad, Fabre has a small chance of getting into the first team as a backup for the wingback Left position. He is not good enough but i have a right wingback that can play at the left and i want to see if this promotion pushes his development even more. From the new lot Colin looks exciting his physicals are decent all round and gotta love that dribbling. I'll retrain a lot of those players. for example Sylla. he isn't good overall but scores very high at the pressing forward role . That is my rule of thumb: average 2 points per match for the season and win a trophy or there about. (So Ligue1 38 matches=76 points) PSG ruins the title win percentage though. Already signed this Director of Football. he was DoF at a lower league team and is a former Lyon scout & coach. Model citizen ! Had to pay my current DoF Hébert( Fairly pro) 18k to cancel his contract. Just found out that the 'league cup' - Coupe de la Ligue is canceled. So i took it out of my spreadsheets. Lamine Diaby Fadiga July 2019 - March 2020 and May 2021 Improved his dna with 3.18 , his technical attributes with 6, mental with +- 4 , physical with 6 . Overall improvement of 5 and role improvement of 6.67 , he is starting to become a really good targetman or advanced forward. Trained him on ball control and planning to do so till next pre season. Overall progress looks fine. His determination dropped with '2' that could be a problem. Still some things that could and should improve. His personalty improved from balanced to Fairly Ambitious. Facts: He started in 31 Ligue 1 games , scored 12 and assisted 5. Personality changed positive this time. He improved again. Players in my 2nd Team and Under 19 side show attribute improvements due to my coaches, but would be nowhere near the first team if performances on the pitch don't back that up. I've had it with Tapsoba (who should have been in the senior squad but was not prolific in the 2nd Team) and Toure (who was prolific in the Under 19 side for two years but could not score in the 2nd Team). Both are now out on loan as I want to see how they get on starting for senior teams elsewhere (so far, very average form for both).
