ranks39
February 2026 A great start to the league this season! We haven't had any major additions, aside from two loan players, so the team are starting to come together. Michael Pugh is a CM from Reading who will be part of my first-choice squad. Mike Linn is a Striker from Dundee who will lead the line for my second-choice squad. We finally have a reliable striker for when we rotate.
ranks39
March 2026 Not a good month. AGAIN, we can work our way deeper into the Leinster Cup. We are top of the table on GD. We just can't stop the ball going into our net.
ranks39
April 2026 Our worst month in Rank's time as manager. Goalscoring completely dried up and we got abused by our rivals. We sit second and it will only get tougher with Champions League on the horizon.

ranks39
May 2026 I benched my main striker, Jack Larkin, to send a message and Jephcott came up huge for us! I also benched my young goalkeeper, Gavin Doherty and re-inserted Bohan. It was probably a mistake to try to rush Doherty in full-time. Back on top of the table. ranks39
Anthony O'Rourke Transfer We've lost O'Rourke to Aston Villa due to his paltry $1.3M release clause. Oh well, it's a good bit of money. He scored 14 goals for us through the first 20 matches and assisted 6 times.

ranks39
Champions League First Qualifying Round Well, we rotated our entire squad in the first leg due to our upcoming league match with Dundalk and lost 3-0 away. So, in the second leg, we put out a full-strength squad and smashed them.

ranks39
Club Information Obviously, once a club that had spent about a decade consecutively in the Premier League, Bolton has tumbled down the pyramid and now find themselves a firmly-entrenched League One Club. They won promotion to the Championship in 22/23 via the playoff but were immediately relegated the following season. During the 24/25 season, they finished 18th in League One and in the 25/26 season, they finished 4th. Bolton Wanderers currently sit at 18th in the League One table. In terms of competitions, Bolton are still active in the FA Cup and the Leasing.com Trophy. They've been knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the Third Round by Everton. The club vision is quite unambitious.... The Finances aren't in bad shape and we currently come in just over $1M/year under the wage budget. Facilities are decent but there is certainly room for improvement. We are decently well-staffed but I'll look to fill out the coaching staff and the scout positions. Finally, the Squad. On first glance, the squad looks fine and should definitely be performing at a higher level in League One. Jack Black looks a quality piece, on-loan from Everton. Ben Bruce is our first-choice striker but he doesn't seem to be able to put the ball in the net with just 9 Finishing ability. Christoph Kramer, the longtime Bundesliga man(267 appearances with Gladbach) and former German International, is the man in the middle of the pitch for us. Luke Matheson looks like a player who can hold down the right back position for us for years to come. We've also got some interesting youngsters who aren't far from significant playing time. Taylor Teague looks like a great partner to Kramer. Mark Griffiths looks like he can race up and down the right side of the pitch, creating problems for opposing left backs. Rhys Giles looks a decent left back(we need to train up his ball control a bit to make him dangerous going forward) and he has been capped for Wales. I will be using the 4-2-3-1 again, as I did at Bohemian F.C. to try to control possession and dominate on the front foot.

I don't feel bad about the place that I left Bohemians, they were good when I arrived and I feel as though I improved the infrastructure and the stature. Time for another challenge! Johnny-Trotter
Speaking of infrastructure, it looks like Bolton have a new stadium incoming so something to look forward to. I will predict the future again and say it will be the Nat Lofthouse Stadium. Looks like you have very solid foundations to work from - I doubt it'll be long til you are moving up the leagues.

ranks39
December 2026 Well, we really couldn't have gotten off to a better start. We've been playing well and dictating matches but we have had some very close wins. As a result, we've shot up the table! We sit 9th but only 10 points separate teams 4-17. ranks39
January 2027 A great month with just the two losses, one in the FA Cup Third Round. We rotated the team completely in every cup match - I'm prioritizing promotion over cup success for now. We've enjoyed tons of the ball and we're knocking it around nicely. We continue our rapid ascent. To be fair, this is where we should be - the squad is far too strong to be anywhere but in contention for the playoff. ranks39
Youth Intake And we've got some extremely interesting prospects! Cyprus-born Roger Mulder was apparently poached from Paralimni. He grew up a Bolton Wanderers supporter. Wow, he is already very advanced technically but certainly has room to grow physically and mentally. Thomas Fitzhenry and Paul Donaldson look like they could become decent as well.
ranks39
March 2027 A perfect month with all league fixtures and we're flying! And we've hit the automatic promotion spots! Future Acquisitions Sean Romanis will come to us from Celtic on a Bosman. I'm playing my cards on him developing into a rotational player. Jack Black will permanently join us from Everton this summer for about $1.5M.
