Stepping up to the Premiership.

Recommended Posts

So, you often see articles about how certain players from below the Premiership could 'do a job' for a team. Jarrod Bowen was always in those lists. Lately, you have the likes of:

Ollie Watkins

Said Benrahma

Kalvin Phillips

Matt Cash

Jude Bellingham

Bradley Dack

Eberechi Eze

Nathan Ferguson

Is there anyone else from below the Premiership who could 'do a job' and, potentially, not cost a bomb?

I've seen Rodon get signed by Premiership clubs on various saves before.

Harry Pickering - Crewe

Ivan Sunjic - Birmingham

Jude Bellingham - Birmingham (depends what season you are in, normally he can be signed on a free transfer at the end of season 2)

Joe Lolley - Nottingham Forest

Jonathan Leko - West Brom

I've used the above before in the Premier League and all played well for me.

Do they have to be from England?

Just got promoted with Bristol City and signed Arthur Zagre (£8.75m), Willem Geubbels (£6.5m) and El Hadj Coly (£3.4m) and it's only really Geubbels that's struggling to get into the team!

Also very surprised that you haven't mentioned Jake Cooper from Millwall! Since they got relegated, managed to snag him for first-choice Premier League football for just £6.5m as well as Leeds youngster Mateusz Bogusz for £4.9m!

Some of the players that did the business for me at sunderland including playing a part in winning the premier league title -

Danny Loader - amazing IF

Jude Bellingham - played as AMC

Josh Tymon and Harry Pickering both did very well at LB

Darnell Furlong RB

George Dobson fantastic B2B

Aleksandr Mitrovic finished second top scorer in the league
