DL/R vs WBL/R Positions

Hi, was just wondering what are the differences between the DL/R and the WBL/R positions? I know that there are more role varieties in the former, but let's assume the same roles. What would be the differences? Thank you.

My opinion... Full backs are usually in the same line of the defenders and I think their primary function is to defend the flanks but they will often be an option on the attack providing assists... Wing backs are usually a little bit in front of the defensive line, sometimes playing in the same line as the defensive midfielders, usually they are more balanced because when you play with wing backs you don't have wingers in your formation.
