Hard Brexit Scenario

There isn't a hard Brexit around, but it doable.

Remove Brexit is the easiest one though.

What you do

  • Add Nation rules with adding a lower league or Cup to it.
  • Then from these Basic Rules convert to Advanced Rules.
  • Under England you will find Agreement Change and there you can see how the game determines what kind of Brexit takes place and when. Easiest would be set a set year as well.

Make sure to check each option as a lot of information isn't visible without clicking through a bit.

I know the is a "Remove Brexit" mod out there but does the opposite exist where the only possible Brexit outcome the Hard one is?

It's not "too" hard, but it's somewhat tedious. Since editing the "Agreement Change" can still lead to fairly random results, what you could do instead is:

  1. Load the English database in Advanced Mode;
  2. Remove the Agreement Change;
  3. Remove the Bosman Rule;
  4. Remove England from the EU as well as the ECC (don't remember if they're in it or not);
  5. Change nations considered as non-foreign/considered as EU to only the other British nations, Gibraltar (and maybe Eire if you feel like it);
  6. Rinse and repeat for Scotland, Wales, N. Ireland and Gibraltar.

That would be the way to get consistent and repeatable results instead of waiting until late December 2019 to see what you get. Did I mention that even with the harshest changes in the "Agreement Change" menu, you can still get random results? :p

You can edit the chances of what type of work permit rules you'll get from here:

But even if you change that brexit can still get canceled. Or you might get no work permit rules at all and are left with the foreign player limit instead. To change these you need to export the database and edit the xml and find these 2 separate lines with percentages:

	<float id="percentage" value="70.000000"/>
	<boolean id="use_work_permit_changes_for_other_nation" value="false"/>
	<list id="work_permit_rules">

	<date id="date_2" day="31" month="12" year="2020" time="0"/>
	<date id="decision_date" day="1" month="1" year="2020" time="0"/>
	<float id="percentage_2" value="85.000000"/>

I completely forgot which one is which so you'll have to try it yourself.

Also the line with date_2 can be used to force the brexit to happen (if it's going to happen) at any date. That should make it easier for testing.
