Seems like my players are ignoring my corner tactic [BETA]

Recommended Posts

Hey. I have custom corner tactic which i've prepared and saved for both left and right attack.
In game my players are ignoring it tho. It's supposed to be always short pass but my set piece taker is doing a long cross, sometimes player is coming for short pass and sometimes don't, anyway taker is never passing short.

I'm playing on Beta, anyone have that problem too? How to fix that?

Yes they are; also defensive throw in instructions... But "according to THOUSANDS SEASONS of testing, match engine is actually what they hoped for" - SI

In a way and to a certain degree I understand taking it long whenever the opposition are pressuring the short option no? So in your screenshot it kinda make sense to take it long since the receiving player is closed down.

do you have examples for corner kicks when this happens without the opposition pressing your player?

also maybe vision/decision and other mental attributes come into play whenever players are following or not your instructions.

what do you think?

I’ve just noticed centre-back is taking throw-ins instead of right-back.

(Been playing 25 years...everyone set up correctly)
