jackannes Posted January 12, 2020 Share Posted January 12, 2020 I can't figure out how to stop leaking goals at corners. Currently 4th in League 1 but have conceded the most from corners in the league. I have made sure that my best at jumping/marking are marking their tall players, and the others who are competent at this are on 'man mark'. At this point I have made it so all my players are back, with one quick player on the edge of the area, but still I am conceding a lot of chances and goals on corners which is hampering my promotion push. How have you managed defending corners? I feel my next step is to have one as a zonal near post but don't want to trial unsuccessful methods if others can suggest a tactic which has been proven.
