FM19 works just fine on linux (ubuntu, debian and arch based distros) with steam proton - anyone managed to set this for FM20?

Or with playonlinux maybe. This worked also for me on debian for fm19.

Thanks!

Did anyone find out how to find the game files on Linux? After I changed my ageing GPU, the game works great on Linux (OpenSUSE), however, I'd like to install the logos for the game and I can't seem to find where the files are located. Proton I think uses wine to mimic the Windows environment, but I wasn't able to find the savegame, etc files anywhere. There are the game files in the .steam folder, but I can't find the saves. The game sees the saved files, thankfully, I'm not able to find them. (Proton 5.0.5 came out in the meantime, might be that, but im betting the GPU was the problem)

On Linux Mint the location of my files for FM19 was:

/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/872790/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/My Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2019/

and the database files were here:

/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/coomon/Football Manager 2019/data/database/db
