When i try to start fm20 i receive this error >

An error occured while updating Football Manager 2020 (missing executable) :

D:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Football Manager 2020\fm.exe

i tried every troubleshooting steps on website and contact with support they sent me this reply.

It seems your Antivir program has detected the games exe file as a virus and quarantine it. This is what is known as a 'false positive' - there is no virus in Football Manager 2020, it is an issue which has occurred with the latest update of your Antivir program.

You need to create and exception for the exe. In how to do so, please get in contact with the support of your Antivir program.

We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I don't use any antivirus program.

What should i do?

Try this - https://community.sigames.com/faq/football-manager-2020/238_how-to/241_pc/how-to-verify-the-integrity-of-fms-files-via-steam-r842/

If that doesn't help, it may be that your anti-virus program has interfered with the installation process so it'd be worth reading and following the instructions here - https://community.sigames.com/faq/football-manager-2020/238_how-to/241_pc/how-to-make-sure-that-an-anti-virus-program-isnt-interfering-with-steam-or-fm -r850/

Let us know how you get on. Thanks.
