Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 19th September 2020 Pre-match v Ross County (a) - Ladbrokes Championship (7) Match Preview BairnsNews: Ross County were relegated from the Premiership a the end of last season, and you thrashed them 6-1 in the Betfred Cup. What are you expecting today? Stuniverse: A much harder game than last season's 6-1, that's for sure. We played at Falkirk Stadium that day and I think they underestimated us to be honest. I don't think they'll make the same mistake again, certainly not in their own back yard at the Global Energy Stadium. Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anthony McDonald (hamstring) Anderson Arroyo (groin) BairnsNews: Two changes today. Both forced, I assume. Stuniverse: Yes. Due to injuries. Michael Doyle returns for Anderson Arroyo (groin) and Louis Longridge comes in for Anthony McDonald (hamstring). Post-match: Ross County (0) 0-3 (1) Falkirk BairnsNews: Your midfielders had their shooting boots on today. Stuniverse: Didn't they, just. Ethan Hamilton in the first-half. Craig Sibbald and Charlie Telfer after the break. Oladapo Afalayan also had one chalked off for offside. To be fair, though, this was a complete display from all 11 players and three subs out there today. Stuniverse
Game date: Wednesday 23rd September 2020 Pre-match v St. Johnstone (H) - Betfred Cup Quarter-Final BairnsNews: What can you tell us about the takeover talks? Stuniverse: Nothing other than that. I understand talks are ongoing but I've not heard anything else. Match Preview BairnsNews: You're at home to St. Johnstone who are struggling in 11th place in the Premiership. Surely you fancy your chances this evening? Stuniverse: I have a fantastic squad of players and am always confident. We hope to be playing in the Premiership ourselves next season so St. Johnstone represent a good litmus test as to how realistic our ambitions are. Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anthony McDonald (hamstring) Anderson Arroyo (groin) Jordan Marshall (Cup-Tied) Tom Givosti (suspended) Doubtful: Robbie Mutch (knee-90) Efe Ambrose (calf-90) Michael Doyle (fatigued-90) BairnsNews: You lost some players to injury in training this week. How's that affected your plans? Stuniverse: Fortunately Robbie Mutch [knee] and Efe Ambrose [calf] have both passed fitness tests and play. Tom Grivosti is suspended so our captain Gregor Buchanan comes in. We played Michael Doyle in the U23 game the other night [my mistake, I forgot to make him unavailable] and probably shouldn't have done as he's looking tired, meaning Sam Dryden starts at right-back. Other than that, it's the same team that defeated Ross County last time out. Post-match: Falkirk (4) 4-3 (3) St. Johnstone BairnsNews: Congratulations on reaching the Semi-Finals. Two very different halves though. Stuniverse: Thank you. Yes. In the first-half it rained goals. They took the lead, Ethan Hamilton equalised, only for St. Johnstone to go 2-1 up. Two goals from Steven Boyd put us ahead for the first time, only for them to equalise. Conor Sammon put us 4-3 ahead at the break and there was no further scoring. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 27th September 2020 Pre-match v Dundee (H) - Ladbrokes Championship (8) Match Preview Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anthony McDonald (hamstring) Anderson Arroyo (groin) Jordan Marshall (knee) BairnsNews: Just the one change today. Stuniverse: Yes. Tom Grivosti comes back in after suspension with Gregor Buchanan sitting on the bench. Post-match: Falkirk (1) 1-1 (0) Dundee BairnsNews: You looked on course to win that one, but ended up drawing. How do you some it up? Stuniverse: We played well, I thought, and Craig Sibbald gave us the lead with a stunning volley. We couldn't add to it, though. A second goal, I think, would've been enough but we were unable to find it and paid the price. Dundee kept going and found an equaliser. BairnsNews: Dundee United won 1-0 against Inverness to cut your lead at the top to one point. Stuniverse: We've only played eight games and there's still 28 to play. It's far too early to worry about the results of a single round of fixtures. Please LIKE if you enjoyed this update and FOLLOW the thread so you don't miss future updates. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 3rd October 2020 Pre-match v East Fife (a) - Ladbrokes Championship (9) Match Preview BairnsNews: An away match against rock-bottom East Fife who have just four points from eight matches. You should be winning this one, shouldn't you? Stuniverse: On paper, yes, but football isn't played on paper. If we make the mistake of thinking we only have to step on the pitch to win then East Fife are more than capable of proving us wrong. We need to be professional, work hard, and hopefully our quality will come through in the end. Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anthony McDonald (hamstring) Jordan Marshall (knee) Doubtful: Anderson Arroyo (groin-75) Robbie Mutch (knee-90) Efe Ambrose (calf-90) BairnsNews: One change today. Stuniverse: Yes. Michael Doyle comes in for Sam Dryden. Post-match: East Fife (0) 1-4 (1) Falkirk BairnsNews: How do you assess that one? Stuniverse: We did the professional job we needed to. Craig Sibbald gave us an early lead after three minutes. Jahmal Hector-Ingram doubled our lead in the second-half. It got a bit edgy when they pulled it back to 2-1, but Steven Boyd made it 3-1 and Efe Ambrose added a fourth. BairnsNews: Dundee United remain a point behind you after winning 4-1 at Dunfermline. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 10th October 2020 Pre-match v Stranraer (H) - Tunnock's Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup 4th Round Match Preview BairnsNews: Stranraer are struggling in the relegation zone of the division below you. As you're at home, you must be confident of reaching the Quarter-Finals? Stuniverse: That's our aim, of course it is, and we'll be doing everything we can to progress through to the next round of the Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup. Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anderson Arroyo (knee) David McMillan (groin) Anthony McDonald (hamstring) BairnsNews: Two changes? Stuniverse: Yes. Aidan Connolly comes in for Charlie Telfer and Jahmal Hector-Ingram gets a start instead of Conor Sammon. Post-match: Falkirk (2) 3-0 (0) Stranraer BairnsNews: Congratulations on making the Quarter-Finals. Stuniverse: Thank you. Michael Doyle gave us an early lead and Steven Boyd put us two up before the break. Craig Sibbald added a penalty in the second-half. Overall, it was a very good performance, we defended well and created plenty of chances. I'm very happy with the players today. BairnsNews: Can you go all the way and win it like you did last season? Stuniverse: We won the Challenge Cup last season, and would love to win it again. It won't be easy though and the league remains our priority. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 17th October 2020 Pre-match v Partick Thistle (a) - Ladbrokes Championship (10) BairnsNews: With the takeover talks collapsing, how does that affect your job? Stuniverse: It doesn't. I wasn't involved in the takeover talks and my job remains the same - in fact, it would be the same under any owner I expect - to build a squad, and develop the players, in an attempt to achieve our goal which, this season, is to reach the Promotion Playoffs... although my backroom staff, the players, and myself are aiming to get promoted this season. Match Preview Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anderson Arroyo (knee) David McMillan (groin) Aidan Connolly (leg) Anthony McDonald (hamstring) Doubtful: Calum Macdonald (thigh-90) BairnsNews: Two changes. Stuniverse: That's right. Jordan Marshall comes in for for Calum Macdonald (thigh) and Lewis Smith replaces Aidan Connolly (gashed leg). We have quite an injury list, having picked up a few injuries in trauining, and we're close to the bare bones now Post-match: Partick Thistle (0) 2-2 (2) Falkirk BairnsNews: You looked to have the victory sewn up at half-time. What happened? Stuniverse: I thought Partick played very well and they caused us a lot of problems. I'll admit Louis Longridge broke the deadlock for us against the run of play. After that, we took more control of the game and Craig Sibbald doubled our lead before the break. In the second-half, Partick seemed to grow in confidence and were probably the better side. They pulled one back and put us under a lot of pressure. Robbie Mutch made a couple of great saves but, in the end, they got an equaliser. If I'm honest, they deserved the draw, possibly more. After the game, we made the players aware that they need to do better than that. BairnsNews: Ayr beat Dundee United 2-1 so your lead is now two points, but it could've been four. Was this a missed opportunity? Stuniverse: Dundee United lost away. We drew away. Under those circumstances, I'd say it was a point gained. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 24th October 2020 Pre-match v Inverness Caledonian Thistle (H) - Ladbrokes Championship (11) Match Preview Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anderson Arroyo (knee) David McMillan (groin) Calum Macdonald (hamstring) Anthony McDonald (hamstring) Doubtful: Aidan Connolly (leg-90) Robbie Mutch (groin-90) BairnsNews: I hear your injury list continues to grow. Stuniverse: Yes. In addition to our other injuries, Calum Macdnald pulled a hamstring in training this week and Robbie Mutch felt some discomfort in his groin. Our medical team have passed Robbie fit to play so there's only one change today with Charlie Telfer coming back in for Lewis Smith. Post-match: Falkirk (3) 4-1 (0) Inverness Caledonian Thistle BairnsNews: That was an impressive win against Inverness who were third going into this match. Stuniverse: Yes. It was a very good all-round display and I'm proud of all my players, who responded brilliantly after a below par performance against Partick last time out. Craig Sibbald and a Jahmal Hector-Ingram brace made it 3-0 by half-time. Ethan Hamilton added a fourth. BairnsNews: You made a surprising decision to substitute both centre-backs on the hour mark. Why was that? Stuniverse: Well, with a comfortable lead, I thought it made sense to give Gregor Buchanan and Mark Durnan some decent playing time. Also, Efe Ambrose and Tom Grivosti both came into this game one yellow card away from a suspension. Efe had already picked up a yellow and I didn't want to risk being without both of them for our next game. Stuniverse
Game date: Tuesday 27th October 2020 Pre-match v Dunfermline Athletic (H) - Ladbrokes Championship (12) Match Preview BairnsNews: As manager of Falkirk you've beaten your arch-rivals Dunfermline three times out of three. Can you make if four out of four? Stuniverse: I know our Bairns fans want us to do just that, but we're realistic to know that runs like that don't go on for ever. Having said that, we're at home with a sellout crowd behind us, we're top, they're 9th, and if we play like we're capable of then we should give the Bairns fans the bragging rights. Of course, Dunfermline will want to end this run for themselves and their fans. I'm expecting a cracking game. Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Anderson Arroyo (knee) David McMillan (groin) Calum Macdonald (hamstring) Doubtful: Aidan Connolly (leg) Robbie Mutch (groin-90) Louis Longridge (fatigued) Michael Doyle (fatigued) Jordan Marshall (fatigued) Craig Sibbald (fatigued) BairnsNews: With a long injury list, how has a gap of just three days impacted your team selection? Stuniverse: No great really. We have a number of fatigued players after the Inverness game on Saturday and the reserves game the other night. I've made three changes but, if we weren't down to the bare bones I would've made more. Gregor Buchanan starts instead of Michael Doyle, with Efe Ambrose moving to right-back. Anthony McDonald comes in for Louis Longridge and Oladapo Afolayan replaces Craig Sibbald. Post-match: Falkirk (2) 5-0 (0) Dunfermline Athletic BairnsNews: You wanted to give your fans the bragging rights and you did. Stuniverse: Yes. With somewhat of a makeshift team today I was delighted with how well we played. Steven Boyd gave us the lead. Gregor Buchanan added a second before the break. Jahmal Hector-Ingram made it 3-0 from the penalty spot. Tom Grivosti added a fourth. Oladapo Afolayan pounced on a mistake by their goalkeeper to add a fifth. Hopefully the Bairns fans will savour that win for some time. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 31st October 2020 Pre-match v Dundee United (N) - Betfred Cup Semi-Final Match Preview BairnsNews: You're one game away from the Betfred Cup Final. How does it feel? Stuniverse: It feels great. We're in this game to win trophies so to be one win from a Cup Final is a fantastic feeling. But we can't afford to get carried away or ahead of ourselves. Dundee United are hot on our heels in the league and beat us in our only meeting this season. We know we have our work cut out for us and will have to be at our very best to make the Final. Team Selection Unavailable: Jordan Marshall (cup-tied) Michael Tidser (fractured leg) David McMillan (groin) Doubtful: Anderson Arroyo (knee-45) Calum Macdonald (hamstring-75) Aidan Connolly (leg-90) Robbie Mutch (groin-90) Charlie Telfer (fatigued) BairnsNews: Three changes. Stuniverse: Yes. Jordan Marshall is cup-tied so Michael Doyle plays left-back. Charlie Telfer was looking a little jaded so Craig Sibbald comes in. Louis Longridge replaces Oladapo Alofayan. BairnsNews: Good luck. Stuniverse: Thank you. Post-match: Dundee United (0) 1-0 (0) Falkirk BairnsNews: Commiserations. How do you assess the Semi-Final? Stuniverse: I thought it was a very hard fought game between two evenly matched sides. There wasn't much in it at all. We created some good chances but we didn't work their goalkeeper enough and didn't get enough attempts on target. Fair play to Dundee United, they found a way to score a goal and one goal proved to be sufficient. Good luck to them in the final. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 7th November 2020 Pre-match v Dundee United (a) - Ladbrokes Championship (13) Match Preview BairnsNews: This is the big one. 2nd against 1st with Dundee United two points behind you. A defeat would see Dundee United leap frog you into top spot and they've already beaten you twice this season. How do you approach this one? Stuniverse: We approach it as we do every game. We go out to win. A win would make the league table look very healthy but, we're away, and have already lost 1-2 and 0-1 to Dundee United so we know it won't be an easy game. Both games have been very even though, and we believe we can get a result at Tannadice Park to keep us top of the league. Team Selection Unavailable: Efe Ambrose (suspended) Doubtful: Anderson Arroyo (knee-45) Michael Tidser (fractured leg-90) Aidan Connolly (leg-90) Robbie Mutch (groin-90) BairnsNews: Two changes from the team that lost to today's opponents in the cup last week? Stuniverse: Yes. One of them is enforced with Efe Ambrose being suspended, Calum Macdonald comes in. On the left wing I've decided to go with Lewis Smith, instead of Louis Longridge. I thought we did well against Dundee United last weekend, were unlucky to lose, and didn't want to make too many changes. We go against them again and I'm hoping it's third time lucky this time. Post-match: Dundee United (1) 1-1 (1) Falkirk BairnsNews: You had to weather an early storm but, in the end, you got the draw and could have won it. Stuniverse: Yes, within the first 10 minutes our goalkeeper Robbie Mutch saved a penalty from Scott Banks and turned it into a double-save after Banks looked to score from the rebound, only for the same player to give them the lead a couple of minutes later. Steven Boyd equalised for us against the run of play but, after we went less attacking and more balanced in or approach, we looked better and Jahmal Hector-Ingram skimmed the bar just before halftime. After the break we grew in confidence and I thought we had much the better of the last 20 minutes. Overall, I think a draw was a fair result. BairnsNews: Good enough to keep you top. Stuniverse: Exactly. That was the most important thing today, make sure we didn't lose and stayed top of the league. It was a hard, tough game, but the players worked very hard and deserved the draw at the very least. BairnsNews: Is there anything in these rumours linking you with the vacant St. Mirren job? [St. Mirren are 11th in the Premiership]. Stuniverse: If there is, it's news to me. Please LIKE if you enjoyed this update and FOLLOW the thread so you don't miss future updates. Stuniverse
Game date: Wednesday 11th November 2020 Pre-match v Alloa Athletic (a) - Ladbrokes Championship (14) Match Preview BairnsNews: With Dundee United not playing their game until Saturday, you really need to win at Alloa to keep the pressure on them? Stuniverse: Yes. We do. Our game has been brought forward because of our Caramel Wafer Challenge Cup Quarter-Final against Cardiff Met Uni on Saturday so yes, we want to get a win so that Dundee United can't overtake us at the weekend. That's the plan, but I'm sure Alloa will be looking to win themselves. Team Selection Doubtful: Anderson Arroyo (knee-45) Michael Tidser (fractured leg-90) BairnsNews: Two changes today. Stuniverse: That's right. Efe Ambrose has served his suspension and returns for Gregor Buchanan. Charlie Telfer replaces Lewis Smith in midfield. Post-match: Alloa Athletic (0) 3-4 (2) Falkirk BairnsNews: How good was Boyd tonight? Stuniverse: Steven Boyd was absolutely outstanding, he grabbed a brace before half-time and completed his hat-trick in the 49th minute, allowing me to take him off and give Oladapo Afolayan a run-out. BairnsNews: A bit of a crazy end to the match? Stuniverse: You can say that again. Alloa scored twice to pull it back to 3-2. Ethan Hamilton made it 4- in added-on time, only for Alloa to score again and we were hanging on at the end. I'm pleased with the win but, after the game, I made the players aware that the second-half performance was unacceptable. Stuniverse: It kind of adds something to it, don't you think? Team Selection Unavailable: Gregor Buchanan (calf) Doubtful: Craig Sibbald (fatigued) Calum Macdonald (hamstring-75) Michael Tidser (fractured leg-90) Robbie Mutch (groin-90) BairnsNews: Four changes today. Stuniverse: That's right. Cammy Bell stands in for Robbie Mutch (groin). Anderson Arroyo (knee ligaments) returns after injury for Michael Doyle. Jordan Marshall replaces Calum Macdonald (hamstring). Craig Sibbald was looking a bit jaded so Aidan Connolly starts in his place. Post-match: Cardiff Metropolitan University (0) 0-2 (0) Falkirk BairnsNews: Congratulations on reaching the semi-finals. Stuniverse: Thank you. Although I thought we were always in control, Cardiff Met Uni defended in numbers and made it very difficult for us to break them down. We had to be patient and keep believing. Aidan Connolly gave us a second-half lead, and Louis Longridge settled it late on. BairnsNews: Dundee United dropped points today in a 1-1 home draw with Dundee. Falkirk fans, who don't want to lose Stuniverse, may be heartened to hear that Stuniverse isn't the favourite for the Posh job with the bookies but we understand Peterborough are ready to ask Falkirk for permission to speak to Stuniverse. We have been unable to speak to Stuniverse, who was recently linked by the media in the Premiership vacancy at St. Mirren - we understand no approach was made by St. Mirren, possibly because our sources close to the Bairns inform us Stuniverse had no interest in the St. Mirren vacancy. Personally I think stay with Falkirk, you are on the verge of another promotion this time to the SPL, If the Posh were in the Championship I would strongly consider it, but knowing how much you are enjoying Falkirk I think staying in Scotland and seeing how you get on in the top league! Just my opinion anyway lol
kingjericho
Solely for the purpose of my curiosity I'd like to see you go but I think a wise move would be to stay, by the way things are going you will be promoted with Falkirk.

Just my opinion anyway lol Thank you for your comments, @samboing. That pretty much sums up my own feelings and, as you can see above, I have declined Peterborough's kind invitation to attend an interview. 11 hours ago, kingjericho said: Solely for the purpose of my curiosity I'd like to see you go but I think a wise move would be to stay, by the way things are going you will be promoted with Falkirk. Sorry to disappoint your curiosity, @kingjericho, but I've decided to stay at Falkirk for now. I'm thoroughly enjoying managing Ye Bairns and things are going very well at the moment. We still have a Semi-Final to play, lost another Semi-Final, and are currently four points clear at the top with a great chance of going up as Champions or at least having a shot at promotion in the playoffs. This on the heels of winning the League One title and a cup last season. I say "for now" because in my head this doesn't have to be a one club save and I am open to moving on in the future, but now doesn't feel like the right time. I want to get Falkirk back to the Premiership if I can and see how we get on in the top flight first. Edited January 12, 2020 by Stuniverse
Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 21st November 2020 Pre-match v Greenock Morton (a) - Scottish Cup Third Round BairnsNews: Any truth to the rumours linking you with a return to England to manage Peterborough? Stuniverse: No. Not really. It was flattering that Peterborough wanted to interview me for their managerial vacancy but, to be perfectly honest, I'm enjoying my time at Falkirk and don't want to leave. I have a fantastic squad of players to work with and I believe something special is happening here. I want to continue to be a part of that and see it through. Match Preview BairnsNews: You're away today, but Morton play in the division below you. What are your expectations ahead of the match? Stuniverse: I'm expecting a difficult game. Morton are 4th so they're no mugs. With their fans cheering them on, I'm sure they'll want to cause a cup upset. It's up to us to do our jobs professionally and make sure that doesn't happen. Team Selection Unavailable: Michael Doyle (suspended) Gregor Buchanan (calf) Doubtful: Michael Tidser (fractured leg) Robbie Mutch (groin-90) BairnsNews: No changes. Stuniverse: That's right. I'm going with the same team that beat Cardiff Met Uni last time out. There are a couple of changes on the bench. Michael Doyle is suspended so Calum Macdonald (hamstring) will be in the dug-out after recovering from injury and Robbie Mutch (groin) is fit to play, should we need him. Post-match: Greenock Morton (1) 3-3 (3) Falkirk BairnsNews: You have to do it all again. Stuniverse: Yes. We do, but at least we'll be at home with Ye Bairns fans cheering us on. Morton deserve a lot of credit, they never gave up, even when they were two goals down, and they managed the last 20 minutes of the game much better than we did. I don't think Barry Robson [Morton manager] would be too happy with the indecision in their defence that allowed Steven Boyd and Jahmal Hector-Ingram to score. Jahmal then scored a goal of the highest quality to make it 3-1 at half-time. We should've done better in the second-half, but we feel hard done to that Ethan Hamilton's 40-yard screamer was ruled out because Steven Boyd was in an offside position. We seemed to lose our way a bit after that and fair play to Morton for earning a replay. Please LIKE if you enjoyed this update and FOLLOW the thread so you don't miss future updates. Stuniverse
Game date: Saturday 28th November 2020 Pre-match v Greenock Morton (a) - Scottish Cup Third Round Replay Match Preview BairnsNews: Morton manager Barry Robson claimed his Morton team had the better of it last time. Do you plan to make him eat his words? Stuniverse: I wouldn't put it quite like that, but we have pinned his comments up in the dressing room all week. We're at home, and we're determined to reach the next round for our fantastic Bairns fans. Team Selection Unavailable: Gregor Buchanan (calf) Doubtful: Robbie Mutch (groin-90) BairnsNews: You've made four changes today. Is that a sign you weren't too happy in the first game? Stuniverse: I thought we should've done better than we did in the second-half so, yes, possibly. Robbie Mutch (groin) has missed a few games and replaces Cammy Bell in goal. Calum Macdonald (hamstring) comes in for Jordan Marshall. I've also changed the two wide men with Louis Longridge for Anthony McDonald on the right and Craig Sibbald for Aidan Connolly on the left. Post-match: Falkirk (0) 1-0 (0) Greenock Morton BairnsNews: Congratulations on reaching the 4th round. Stuniverse: Thank you. It wasn't easy though. Morton are a very good side, who we may well see promoted to the Championship at the end of the season. In the end, one goal settled it, and I'm delighted for Louis Longridge that he was able to score the winner for us. BairnsNews: Dundee United won 1-0 at Partick, reducing your lead at the top of the Championship to one point. Stuniverse: We'll have to do our best to win our game-in-hand then. Stuniverse
Game date: Tuesday 1st December 2020 Pre-match v Ayr United (H) - Ladbrokes Championship (15) Match Preview BairnsNews: Back to league action today after your cup exploits. Stuniverse: Yes. Our cup runs have been brilliant, just like last season, but the league remains our priority. We're top of the Championship and we want to stay there to achieve our aim for this season. Team Selection Unavailable: Tom Grivosti (suspended) Gregor Buchanan (calf) Doubtful: Robbie Mutch (groin-90) BairnsNews: One enforced change today. Stuniverse: Yes. Tom Grivosti is suspended so Jordan Marshall comes in. Post-match: Falkirk (1) 2-2 (1) Ayr United BairnsNews: Twice ahead, twice pegged back. How disappointed are you? Stuniverse: It's disappointing, of course, but I'm more concerned about the injury to Craig Sibbald early in the fist-half. I think it affected the players who were already tired after the cup-tie a few days ago. Steven Boyd gave us the lead late in the first-half, but they equalised before the break. In the second-half, Jahmal Hector-Ingram gave us a 2-1 lead but, with the referee handing yellow cards out like confetti, it became quite difficult for us with our entire back four on a yellow. It meant we couldn't really put any tackles in and, fair play to Ayr, they got a second equaliser. BairnsNews: Sibbald was stretchered off. How bad is it? Stuniverse: Very bad, I'm afraid. Craig has broken his lower leg. I don't think he'll play again this season. BairnsNews: Dundee United won 4-1 against East Fife and go top by one point. Stuniverse: We have a game-in-hand so we'll have to make sure we do everything we can to win that one, but there's still a long way to go. No need to panic.
