Uses his pace well in academy games though

Uses what he has well. Quick of the mark, turns quickly and plays well when running at speed, but didn't cover ground any quicker than some massive Kosovan lads in a flat foot race.

I don't see him regularly, though, and gave Dan James pace 15 a little over a year ago. My word ain't gospel.

Think giving Dan James 15 was harsh, I used to watch a decent amount of Swansea's 23's games and this being 2 seasons ago he was up there with the fastest players I've seen especially with the ball at his feet

15 is still very quick in the match engine (not enough players have <10 ratings which ruins the curve a bit), and I wasn't sure at the time how his little legs would manage up against full grown men at the elite level. Even on his first sensational performance for us against Ipswich in October they had Matthew Pennington at right back, who is a natural centre half and wasn't long out of development football himself. Hardly top competition in a sprint. Didn't have clocked kph speeds to go off for the rating back then.

In CA terms he was already overrated for a player with no senior experience (said Dean :p) who flunked out at Shrewsbury, if I'd put more into his pace I'd have had to be harsh on everything else to fit the guidelines.

There's a very real distinction between pace in a less competitive environment and in senior football. The best example forever more will be Usain Bolt, even in a much less competitive league he really struggled to use the speed he has despite the fact he would be faster than any footballer in a straight up sprint. He couldn't actually transfer it onto the pitch properly or with any degree of consistency.

Tyrese Campbell for Stoke is one who was absolutely lightning fast at academy level, and in reserve football. When it came to getting his debut in the premier league though it was like he was running through treacle.

It looks like there wa a typo with Victor Sodeinde's (Nottingham Forest) name as is the DB it is appearing as Sodiende. Link to his profile at Nottingham Forest: https://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/teams/under-23s/forward/victor-sodeinde/

Bristol City - Kasey Palmer has a clause owed to Charlton of 150k after 10 games - obviously a historic clause that should be removed, given he transfered from Chelsea

There’s lots of errors with the staff at Swansea City. Many of the staff, particularly the academy staff have been replaced.

True. Been hard to keep track the rate they've been leaving over the last six months. Still going as well, two out this week (that I know of).

edit: Three now.

What do you mean exactly?

I think he's trying to say his PA value is too low. I've noticed this myself, Fry already maxes out his CA after a year or two into the game.

Looking it up in the editor, it seems his CA = his PA and he has no room to improve.

so it is.   not sure how that has happened, it should be at 156 which it was previously.    will make sure this is corrected for the next version.

Derby County: Just a minor one, but Jordan Brown's place of birth is missing and should be Stoke-On-Trent.

I work with his mum who's been sharing plenty of posts about him on Facebook.

Thanks, @CrowBar.

In FM20, Jozefzoon was declared for Holland which was set as his Nation, with Suriname his second nation, and France his third nation. I have now declared him for Suriname and this should take effect in the Winter Update.

Thanks for letting us know.

@Stuniverse Please can you add the buyout clause to Matheus Pereira's contract, he's on loan at West Brom but we have an option to buy him at any point for £8.25m.

https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2019/10/08/825m-fee-for-west-brom-to-sign-matheus-pereira/

Thanks!

Hi @cooknaris, this will be picked up by the Head Researcher for the EFL or the WBA researcher. As the Derby County researcher, I’m only able to make Derby County related changes.

Just looking at Middlesbrough following the new patch. Darren Randolph was sold to West Ham for just over £4m and there seems to be to change to the transfer and wage budget as a result.

Chris Solly appears to still have his appearance history putting him as a starting as a defender for Charlton at like 15 making a near full season of appearances.

Its the smallest possible grumble I could make about great data, but for the last 2/3 games I've had to update Solly to make him a little bit less of a Charlton legend through games played.

I'm not sure it would make a great difference.  We've signed a replacement in Stojanovic and I would imagine the rest will be absorbed as savings on the budget.

Stojanovic I think only cost up to a £1m. I know we got the 4 lads in on loan are paying monthly fees/percentage of their wages and we are fairly skint, but there's been no change to the overall balance either.

I don't think it should do though.   we would always have a small amount available for a new signing but once we'd signed a replacement for Randolph I doubt any more would be made available to JW.

Leeds United:

Nohan Kenneh isn't listed as a home grown player, even when he turns 17.

Couldn't find a specific date for when he joined Leeds but this interview with him suggests he was there from 14 years old but it also kind of hints he was there before that.

https://medium.com/@FocusOnLeeds/nohan-kenneh-future-leeds-united-and-england-star-25931d97d575

Interview states he moved here at 7 and joined Leeds via trial. Then got England under 15 caps when he impressed playing for the younger sides.

Maybe a boost to Klich's natural fitness/overall conditioning, guy is an absolute terminator. Played near enough every minute under Bielsa and his intense style.

Also: I haven't had a game where Bielsa lasts a full season at Leeds, usually ends up in La Liga no matter how well Leeds are doing but I don't know if anything can be done about that?

You are going to have to provide some actual evidence of debts that have been paid off.

You have not provided anything we can use.

Hello!

Why Jake Livermore from WBA have so low Leadership? Just 9. But IMO he should be one of the best in team (13+ Leadership may be?)

I cant attach screenshot from game right now, but it's same like from picture.

He was the captain for this team all season

And players with coaches said that he is leader of this team.

But in my game he is not good choice for being a captain.

Any ideas? Is it a wrong number or researcher have some reasons?

Thanks.

Sorry for poor English.

And again, IRL Nathan Ferguson from WBA can play RB and LB but not in CB. On LB even more games that RB.

But in game he just RB and (why?) CB, but zero in LB.
