How To Change The Columns In The Search Results

Recommended Posts

Michael, are there any works done in order to make competitions editable in future releases? I mean adding/modifying/removing leagues, etc. This is what thousands of old CM/FM players have been waiting for for ages. Would be great to finally see it.

Would it be possible to view a list of clubs by 2nd competitionn, for example sao paulo play in the brazilian prem, but they also play in the sao paulo state championship. Is there anyway to search clubs by their 2nd competition.

Could this be updated to FM10? The editor has changed quite a lot, and the file mentioned does not seem to exists anymore.

I also hope that will be included in this editor

but the editor has been created by nygreen or no?

I do not like this editor, the old one was more practical

The file you're searching is "person ui.xml" located in this folder: \(...)football manager 2010\tools\editor\data\format\database ui

The problem is that the 4 letter name of the propertys have changed, so we need an update on that.

When searching for clubs, you cannot filter by continent (only nation), and apparently clubs don't have their continent set, because when i added Continent to the club search columns, it's blank for every club.

Suggestions?

I also wish to know how to do this, I don't want to have to search clubs with the filter:

Nation IS 'Albania' OR

Nation IS 'Andorra' OR

Nation IS 'Armenia'... and so on

Question: was playing with the Editor and it crashed. When I came back to it, the columns typically displayed in the Competition part of the Editor are gone. I can't right-click anywhere to add columns back to the editor and I have no idea what any of this .xml stuff is and what I'm meant to adjust to get the column back.

Anyone able to offer any help?

Tell me if i'm missing something, but what's wrong with just right clicking the top and using manage views? I'm managing to add and remove all these things you're talking about without using this .xml file...
