Change a club name in a save game

I tried creating the following inc file but it did not work.

 

#"CLUB_SHORT_NAME_CHANGE" 8507307 "Jokerit" ""

#"CLUB_LONG_NAME_CHANGE" 8507307 "Helsingin Jokerit" ""

 

For an experiment, I changed the name of a competition through another inc file and it worked. But changing clubs name does not.

The issue is probably caused from the fact I am using database files (Susie Real Name + Pro's Transfers/Promotions 2019/2020). Though, none of these files made a change on the entry I try to edit (a club in the finnish 4th tier) so I'm a bit confused.

This club name change is vital for my save, I would really appreciate any help.

You do realise that you need to remove the hash symbol (#) from in front of the string for it to work? The # 'comments out' the line that follows it from having any effect in the game.

Hopefully that is all that is holding you back. :)
