scarp
July 2021 Decided to buy a new winger as well as two youngsters to provide cover. scarp
August 2021 Continuing with a good form. We concede more goals with new tactic (4-2-3-1) but I believe we have higher ceiling as we have really talented players to play ACM)
scarp
September 2021 Great month as we move forward in Russian Cup, continue winning and league and get decent results in CL aswell. This is sad news though.

scarp
November 2021 We did pretty bad in CL. I expected us to at least take a point against Man Utd and definitely beat Leipzig. We outplayed Leipzig hard - shots were like 20 to 1 but we just could not score. If we beat OM, we still go through.
scarp
December 2021 Great end of the year, beat Zenit twice and secured our advance in CL. One would say it is easier than last time - but Tottenham are the reigning CL champions.
scarp
January 2022 That's our icon gone, but he wanted a new challenge so I let him go. I bought this guy for 7mil - my scouts were never this excited about anyone yet. Fixtures Started mid-season earlier this time. Chalov sweeping it this time instead of Vlasic. scarp
February 2022 We trashed Anderlecht in friendly and then beat Tottenham 1-0 at home. Bad thing is that Chalov got injured next game against Saturn so he will not be available for the rematch. We also beat Zenit and advanced to Russian Cup semifinals where we won 6-1 in first leg against Rostov.
scarp
March 2022 We score three away in Tottenham and advance to quarterfinals! We also drew against Spartak in league which means an end to our perfect season aspirations. And we move to Russian Cup finals where we will play Spartak. I am excited about this match-up! scarp
April 2022 We played an even game against Real Madrid in both legs so I am happy with that. scarp
May 2022 We beat Spartak Moscow in Russian Cup finals and celebrate our treble! Some records beaten after our best season so far.
scarp
Season 2021/22 Thoughts I am not sure where to invest to make the team better. Perhaps a CM? Thing I love about this save is that these players do not bitch about me not selling them - this literally never happened to me so far. Chalov, Almada, Morilla, Vlasic, Zobnin, Brecao - they all are getting offers from the World's best teams and the only one who ever came to me about the move was Zobnin, after I rejected Real Madrid's 50 million offer. I told him I can't guarantee us winning CL but I can guarantee us reaching latter stages. He said he's okay with that and I never heard from him again. Really great group of loyal players (makes it hard to even think about replacing someone. I am not thinking that only positions I can realistically get better players (maybe) is b2b midfielder (currently Akhmetov/Oblyakov) or DL (Schennikov/Magnusson). scarp
July 2022 Good pre-season followed by win in Super Cup and two good wins in Premier League including win against Spartak with Di Maria. I decided to sell Morilla even though in the past there were better offers I rejected at the time and 50% went to Gijon. He was injured throughout entire season and also started to moan about me rejecting offers for him so I decided it is time to move him on as I believe we have better players anyways. I tried to sign Magomed-Shapi Suleimanov almost for the entire save but only recently Krasnodar would let me buy him for his release clause (20mil) but he decided to go to Borussia Dortmund instead. As my little revenge I bought Gravenberch from them for 12mil what is an absolute no-brainer as he can play DM, CM and ACM and is one of the biggest talents. Also bought Claudio Gomes for only 4mil and Semenov from Ufa for a pocket change.
scarp
August 2022 Great month but we only player low-tier league teams. Lets make it as long as possible! Wonder how many is league's record? scarp
October 2022 Beat Arsenal at home again. We continued our win streak until the game away at Spartak where we only drew. karanhsingh
Excellent stuff. Can you put up a screenshot of Almada? Along with the b2b mid I think perhaps you ca improve in the AML position by getting someone of a similar or better quality than Vlasic. Maybe check on Almada’s old teammate Vargas. scarp
April 2023 We beat Liverpool 3-0 at home and drew 3-3 away which means we advanced to semifinals where we will play Arsenal. I was quite delighted as we already beat Arsenal twice this season. We did not play very well against them this time though and only drew 1-1 at home, making it very hard for us to advance further. We also won 4 our of 5 games in league and celebrate fifth title in a row. It is 110 now after our game against Novgorod and we still have two more games to play. scarp
May 2023 I am really gutted that we lost to Arsenal on penalties.. We were the better team in both games but it just wasn't meant to be I guess. scarp
July 2023 Good pre-season, we won Super Cup again and started the season very well by winning away at Spartak (we never win there) Going up the ladder! Becao wanted to go so I let him, he's a club legend but I think he's replaceable. Already bought his replacement in Onguene who was transfer-listed in Liverpool. Also bought Jota from Benfica - he can play on both wings so he can alternate for Vlasic / rotate with Solomon. Also it was a sad summer for CSKA fans as Akinfeev decided to retire. scarp
December 2023 Defensively very good month as we did not concede a single goal but we struggled to score as well. We still managed to win all our games so I am satisfied. Extremely happy with our CL performance so far. Good draw I'd say. They're currently 3rd in Serie A. Biggest stars are Tsygankov, Torreira and Kouamé.
scarp
January 2024 First of all I decided to sell Mario Fernandes to Genk. He was not starting for us anymore and he wanted a new challenge so I said why not and let him go. We needed to replace him with someone and since I signed Rasskazov from Lokomotiv for a fee of 1mil. Also we signed left winger Veron from Lanus for a fee of 2.5mil.
scarp
February 2024 Zobnin and Almada were injured for the game against Napoli but we still should have done way better. We were actually up 2-0 and conceded 3 goals in last 15 minutes, shameful. At least in Russian Cup we did well as we hammered Krasnodar but the very next match we played very bad again and only drew against Rubin. scarp
March 2024 We returned in a great form in March and casually beat Napoli 2-0. scarp
April 2024 In the first game against Real Madrid we absolutely demolished them - we could have scored way more goals than 2 but I was still happy with the 2:0 win. Come the rematch we played way worse and were down 1-0 pretty quick. In 70th minute Almada tackled Gabriel Jesus against the rules and he's got red card + penalty for RM. When they scored third goal in OT I thought it was gonna be over but Khokhlov who never scored a goal for us yet scored great header and sent us to the semifinals. In Cup we hammered Rubin and will play Spartak in the finals again. PSG expected line-up: Meret - Danilo, Dias, Marquinhos, Dodo - Tonali, Jorginho, Arthur - Maroslavac, Dybala, Bernardo Silva Edited July 10, 2019 by scarp
scarp
May 2024 We drew away at PSG thanks to Solomon mostly but overall we were the better team. In a rematch at home we won 2-0 thanks to two very late goals by Chalov and Vlasic, but we were controlling the match all game long - we will play Champions League finals! Big surprise came two weeks later as we lost to Spartak in Russian Cup finals and it won't be a double for us (yet). Now this is interesting. I really expected an english team as I haven't met any this year. Let's do this! And the final will be played at Luzhniki! scarp
FINAL STEP FOR THE ARMY MEN 1st June 2024 19:45 Luzhniki We actually did it! Perfect performance from Nosov, Gravenberch, Onguene, Chalov and Jota. We were controlling the pace for the entire game but FC Porto was very dangerous with their counter-attacks. In the end we did not really let them to do anything and just controlled the game to its end. WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE CHAMPIONS! scarp
Istanbul Basaksehir F.K. A newly found team that never won silverware yet - ideal challenge for me. The aim will be to overcome the turkish "big-three" - Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas and hopefully in the future win Champions League. The team is way worse than CSKA was when I took them over but I'd say the finances and facilities are better.
scarp
August 2024 Pretty hard first month on the job but we managed to beat Galatasaray away. Too bad we only drew against Malatyaspor - we really should have won that game. My biggest issue is that our star attacker (and record signing) is playing really bad so far - that needs to change. Transfers Basaksehir had really aging squad and it will take me a while to rebuild them the way I like. So far this preseason I managed to sell Junior Caicara, Muriel and Salih Ucan. Something i did not want to happen is selling Baris Bozkurt - this wonderkid wanted to leave but I would not let him - I do not want to be a selling club but the board decided the offer was too good to pass. Well - I used the money to sign Yanis Begraoui from Lyon and few more players. Anjorin from Chelsea will see play time if we play 4-2-3-1 as he's our only good ACM. Salcedo came on loan with an option to buy for 7.5mil and he should rotate on left win. Halil Demircan is a great turkish talent and he will see some play time or RW. Tomasevic and Churlinov came to provide more depth in the position we needed it.
