Startup crash after upgrading to W10 1903

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I updated my Windows 10 version earlier today to 1903 and after that the games crashes every time when I'm trying to launch it. I've downloaded the latest drivers for my graphics card and I'm running the latest version of BIOS as well.

FM 2018 runs perfectly for some strange reason.

Can I get a little help? :)

FM 2019 v19.3.5.1225655 (2019.06.19 20.07.53).dmp DxDiag.txt

Update:

I've cleared preferences and cache in %appdata% folder. Also tried reinstalling the game. Still the same crash at every startup.

Edit:

Also verified game files via Steam.

Looking at your Dxdiag, it looks like your machine is not recognising your graphics cards. Can you make sure that you have downloaded and installed the correct graphics drivers for your graphics cards, please?

Thanks for reply!

I brought home a new USB docking station from work (Dell D600). I was so happy I didn't have to unplug all the cords when changing from work to home computer using the old docking station. I work almost every day from home and at the end of the day I switch back to my personal PC. With that said if I remove the new docking station the game starts up fine. Connecting it again make the game crash. So I'm pretty sure we've found the cause of the crashes, unfortunately not even a firmware upgrade of the docking station prevents the game from crashing at startup.

At the moment I'm pretty satisfied knowing that FM will run as long as I don't use the new docking station. It's a little annoying switching docking stations but I can live with that :)

Thank you for your reply and we are glad that you've found the cause yourself! Enjoy the game!
