SI Security Certificate Expired

Recommended Posts

Clicking on my bookmark for this site gives me a privacy warning message and then tells me that your security certificate expired today (or yesterday).

Not a major issue I presume but something that is being taken care of?

Yeah I got that too, just now.

SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE

Guessing the update last night may have messed up something.

This is using Chrome although I suspect it'll be the same with other browsers

Yes, same message in Firefox.

Hi All,

I've asked the question to the relevant people and they will hopefully answer the question why this has suddenly happened.

As I'm not that technically able I cant answer without help

Cheers Mark

No biggie, SSL's expire and needs renewing every now and then. You are usually given a warning it is about to expire though, bit lazy to let this happen. But should be easy enough to fix for the right people.

How quickly after 'they' take action is the certificate renewed?

Typically they have to install a new signed certificate onto their site certificate store.

Since this started happening I am unable to upload images/ attachments into any post, it gives some sort of error. Anyone else facing the same?

Guess it should get resolved soon.
