mikcheck
Hi there, I'm sure many it happened to many of you? I have a really good player in the last year of his contract, but he is unhappy and wants to move and doesn't want a new contract. What do you do, you try to sell him before January for a much more inferior amount than the amount that reflects his real value or if he is really important to you, you just let him go for free in the end of the season ? I hate when this happen Thank you.

January transfers (inbound) can be tricky so, for me, the big question is can you replace him in January? If yes, then sell. If no, then keep and get your scouts working on his replacement for the summer. As a general rule I'll usually let go any player who doesn't want to stay, but depending on why he's unhappy there might be another solution. If you can ease his unhappiness *and* no-one bids for him in January, he might drop his concerns around March and be open to a new contract then. mikcheck
Thanks. Yeah I'll just sell him and make some money. He is an important player but not irreplaceable. Between let him go for free or sell him for 40M, I choose the latter.
