Unhappy player- responses

One of the issues with making a smaller reputation team successful is that the big European teams circle your better players at every transfer window., often offering ridiculously low figures, well below the asking price.  This is fair enough, but every rejected transfer bid is immediately followed by an unhappy player wanting to talk to you.

I would ask that one of the options that is available to the manager in every conversation around a rejected transfer bid should be:

The bid received was well below our valuation of you, but I will be willing to consider ( not accept) any further bids that match this valuation
