shaunvamos
2023/24 Season Review A very unceremonious end, but we are safe in La Liga for a 3rd year. This was perhaps our toughest season, especially towards the end, where we fell apart, winning just 3 in our last 15. I don't think there's cause for alarm, as in the team comparison we are very near bottom in the league for a lot of attributes. All I have to do is keep perservering, waiting for our young players to develop, and reap the rewards. There's just a bit of a lull as our older players decline and our younger players are rising to bridge the gap to ultimately go above and beyond what their predecessors have. Best Eleven Carlos Abad Fermín 1D* - Jonay 3B - Arodi Bolado 2A* Luis Pérez - Iker Undabarrena - Alberto - Calem González 2E Borja Lasso Rafa Mújica - Nicolás 3A Not long to go now before these are maxed out. My first Canarian cap
shaunvamos
2024 Preseason Good preseason. Transfers Not much here, just a striker that never really played. Season Preview Predicted to stay up, but only in front of the teams that were promoted.
shaunvamos
September 2024 A really difficult opening run of games, but we have seemed to have turned around our form with wins over Sevilla and Espanyol.
shaunvamos
October 2024 Another tough month, but a good win against Elche.
shaunvamos
November 2024 Our first month in this save where I've had a 100% win rate! Could this be the start of a turnaround?
shaunvamos
December 2024 Nope, it's back to the norm of losing again.
shaunvamos
January 2025 We blew a 2-1 lead against San Sebastian, but apart from that a very good month.
shaunvamos
February 2025 We got our tough month out of the way, including a second 5-3 win over Sevilla. Sevilla are seriously struggling, their defence seems really awful. It's looking like they may go down!
shaunvamos
2025 Youth Intake We were due a poor intake, and we finally have one. At least we get a couple of wing backs though.
shaunvamos
March 2025 An okay month, mid table is looking to be where we will finish. Which is so much better than where we have been the last 2 years!
shaunvamos
April 2025 We've capitulated, but I don't care. We are safe! Sevilla have also conceded over 100 goals!
shaunvamos
2034/35 Season Review A very good end to the season, and we end in 12th. Sevilla manage to survive, and Real Madrid go through the season undefeated. I think we can only get better next season, perhaps a serious push for the continental places. Carlos Abad Fermín 1D* - Arodi Bolado 2A* - Jonay 3B Pedro Luis Carrillo 4A - Iván Techera - Iker Undabarrena - Gabriel 4D Adolfo Romero 4C* Nicolás 3A - Rafa Mújica
shaunvamos
There was no way he was going to re-sign with us, so I decided to cash in while I still had the chance. We still get him for another 2 seasons, which I feel is more than enough time for someone else to make the step up and replace him when he goes. Quite possibly the best ever player I've had come through a youth system in this game. What a player. Hopefully his last two seasons with us will be spectacular. shaunvamos
2025 Preseason Standard preseason. Transfers Just some loans from people we lost. Season Preview Predicted 15th, but after last season I think 10th is possible.
shaunvamos
August 2025 Undefeated start to things here.
shaunvamos
September 2025 Lapsing again. We have a couple of injuries, but we really should've beaten Almeria.

After a bit of absence, yes I am.... October & November 2025 This save is back, and with a new tactical approach I hope will benefit me in both the short and long term. I changed the tactic in November and bar the Madrid loss, it has fared well so far. I'm hoping this makes us very solid in attack and defence with 5 players each contributing to those phases of play. I don't want the FBs contributing to the attack in case they get exposed and the ball goes in behind. For this reason we will be defending narrower, as I'd rather them have the ball out wide than in the middle of the pitch. The Anchor Man is expected to hold his position in front of the defence, in case a fast break ensues. I'm very unsure about the use of a Segundo Volante, but the role description fits what I want. Contributing as a 5th attacker but also dropping back as a 6th defender when we are under pressure. As for the front four, once we get comfortable tactically they should be able to work very well together. I'm optimistic this will work, but it's just as likely this blows up in my face. shaunvamos
December 2025 The usual losses to Madrid and Barcelona, and we end the year in 14th.
shaunvamos
January 2026 An incredible month, and it finally seems that we are beginning to realise our potential. Transfers Just one player leaves permanently, and one joins us. I've taken him from our rivals, and he looks like he could develop into a good player. shaunvamos
February 2026 We were absolutely flawless until we ran into Valencia, and even then we only lost in stoppage time.
shaunvamos
2026 Youth Intake I missed the intake day, but here are the players I've signed. I'm really excited about Adonai, he's at 2.5* already!
shaunvamos
March 2026 Another undefeated month, and there's some breathing room between us and the non European places! With 9 games to go an unprecedented spot in continental competition is possible!
shaunvamos
April 2026 Our unbelievable run continues, and continental football is all but assured. It's just a question of which tournament we play in.
shaunvamos
2025/26 Season Review Best of the rest Carlos Abad Jonay 3B - Arodi Bolado 2A* - Fermín 1D* Pedro Luis Carrillo 4A - Iván Techera - Nahuel 6C - Gabriel 4D Adolfo Romero 4C* Rafa Mújica - Alisson

shaunvamos
Despite doing absolutely nothing so far in this save, I am now the manager of the 5th best nation in the world off the back of a disappointing Round of 32 exit in the World Cup.
shaunvamos
2026/27 Season Preview At least expectations aren't massively high after last season. I've made no transfers in or out, I don't think there will be many coming in from now on.
shaunvamos
I'm glad we weren't drawn in Group E, but Group F is just as difficult. If we can get a good result against Marseille maybe we can finish 3rd, but that's a stretch.
shaunvamos
August 2025 A solid start, and all of our goals in the Vigo match came from set pieces.
shaunvamos
September 2026 A difficult month, which included Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Marseille. But we're still in a reasonable position in the league and temporarily top in the Champions League.
shaunvamos
October 2026 A slow start to October, but we ended it with a bang, with a brilliant win over Juventus and 2 big wins after that. We finally got a good draw in the cup too, against 3rd division Sestao.
shaunvamos
November 2026 Another strong month and we've qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League! Joining us will be Marseille, surprisingly, instead of Bayern and Juventus.
shaunvamos
December 2026 We finished our demolition of Sestao and topped our Champions League group. A tough task in Monaco next, although we have beaten them in a friendly before. National Team An undefeated start to proceedings as manager.
shaunvamos
January 2027 Good month, and we finally got a win over Real Madrid, only our second in 14 attempts. No noteworthy transfers on our end either, just a few loans.
shaunvamos
February 2027 With Barcelona and Real Madrid out of the way in terms of playing them again, it appears to be pretty smooth sailing for the rest of the season. The only other team that would be challenging form wise would be Valencia. But we are within a win of the lead now, and it appears to look like a 3 horse race for the title. Hopefully we don't suddenly fall away. We have a small advantage going into the home leg of our tie against Monaco too, with that away goal.
shaunvamos
2027 Youth Intake Two 5* prospects.
shaunvamos
March 2027 A good month headlined by our win against Monaco. We face Real Madrid in the last 8 but all four Spanish sides are still in the comp!
shaunvamos
April 2027 Things are really heating up now at the back end of the season. It's still a 3 horse race, but Madrid have the upper hand. Inexplicably, we are still in the Champions League after a second leg performance for the ages, a 5-0 win over Real Madrid. We also have the upper hand against Barcelona in our semi, the winner of which will play Atletico Madrid or PSG in the final.
