they could be difficult as their wingers are more inside forwards!! i forgot to add in OP!!

- TRY NOT USE INSIDE FORWARDS IN WINGERS POSITION! I FOUND THIS EFFECTS TACTIC! AS YOUR FULL BACKS WILL CUT IN, WINGERS NEED TO STAY OUT WIDE!

im throwing this straight into my coventry save be good to see if it works lower down

98 points with Newcastle would suggest it should also work leagues lower down. only losing to United 2-0 at home and 4-3 away to Chelsea. If you follow the OP then you should be fine!

Playing loads of friendlies are NOT good despite what you heard/read!

Can you explain why

no OIs and i just tend to ask assistant unless of course he says something too hash

because it is just as important to have the much needed pre season training. Also asking players to play so many games will effect their fatigue, specially those coming back from international duty, they need their much needed break. If you notice, teams in real life don't play 8 friendlies...Man City this season only had 3 friendlies + community shield. UNLESS, like LFC, had 7 friendlies but their early friends featured mostly reserve/youth or now loaned out players

Training works really well.

I don't know yet for tactics (especially this year).

I have been playing half season with TFF CONQUEROR; as an underdog team in Scotland Premiership (Livingston - promoted via playoffs, thanks to Knap Salah and 19.2.3) and I am really strangling. I am manager also in Swiss national team which seems not to like the formation 442 (TFF Con). In the other hand I plug it "universal version" and I am getting draws with Livingston (maybe we can avoid relegation).

After all, I don't know if the formation 442 really works well for 19.3. Waiting Mr. L to unveil their new website.

I’m assuming I’ll need a left foot on left side & right foot on right side?

& I’ll also assume wide players with ‘cut inside’ PPM would be detrimental to this tactic?

not really sure what you mean? haha but i doubt it. the schedules are from Mr U Rosler, who also has a great training guide and explains it way better than me. But also self knowledge.

if you plug this in half way through a season then you can expect to not get the best results straight away unless you have players who have very good ability.

thats correct. you can play a right footed player on the left but he should have a "fairly strong" weaker foot, by theory this should make it harder for defenders because both feet abilty. but then if that play has cut inside then he won't use his weaker foot as he'll be looking to cut in on his stronger one, 'cut inside' would be detrimental unless he's a world beater like a Ronaldo/Messi lol...Wingers job in this is to stay wide to create the space as you general play is through the middle, if they cut in then very easy to defend

SECOND SEASON:

may only play half the season as i want to start a larger file, couple signings made (more than i wanted), brought in Mitovic and Sissoko as they're former Newcastle players so will fit in with social groups. Also Sessengon and Tammy Abraham, english players for social group and will fit in well. Jimenez, Matip, Pavon and Barreca (bought from loan) are for first team!

I found, no matter and which tactic you use, require more time than normal (in real life or previous version) to get work properly. I will continue use this version ("universal") until end of the league, because I am really close to be sacked.

this is partly down to training and partly down to the new patch. usually by now i'd have a few injuries, but because training and fitness, my team get less tired which causes less injuries

Great tactic.

Whilst waiting for FMT to update thought i'd fire up a save on holiday mode to test, finished 1st easily with Hull City, no signings.

(Away tactic used)

Agreed. For the same team to have the best attack and defence in the league is very impressive.

Cant wait to start mt career game with this.

Well done! :applause:

sorry for the late reply. In theory yes! i find for a long while the home tactic works away, its basically the same, only difference is the deep lying mid on defend. i only really use the away one for tough away games. so against the top six or away against team who are on form (you can check this at the match preview before the match)

I'm using the training presets you suggested and half of my squad is unhappy with training - "thinks his training unit is not getting enough attention". Are you sure this can be ignored? I worry this might affect performances.

i was surprised to with the defence. some games are frustrating, sometimes every shot flies in against you. but thats just football at times. i did a holiday file with Atalanta just till Jan, top of the league by 7 points, best defence and attack! impressive with Napoli and Juve in the league!

i find that strange as i've never had that problem. With Newcastle, i only had 5 coaching staff to (including me!) funny enough, early versions of this game, i had that issue using the presets fm give. i dont think it'll effect performances but also shouldn't be ignored! Performance Week schedule, you can tweak it to suit your players, i treat Performance Week like the development training. Match Week is the more important schedule

Hey, what if your match day is on Sunday - do you still set only rest on Monday?

If sunday is your match day then rest day would be on the saturday but with match preview of course...its always important to have at least one rest day during a week. OR if you like, you can train the saturday, match on sunday, then VERY light training on monday with recovery as a session. i havent tested that yet though, i just use Sat as my rest day with match preview.

Training sessions above can easily be tweaked by users for their preference. try to not make them intense though as the tactic is very intense already. you dont want intense training (like gegenpress) then play intense during the match. players will fatigue and/or loads of injuries. i hardly get injuries though i see lots of complaints about injuries.

Great work! I guess you would have mentioned if you changed anything from the two formations posted but I'm just so surprised that your away tactic is so attacking (only RCM has different role compared to home tactic I believe) but so solid defensively! Did you tweak mentality or anything?

i prefer strikers with "physical playing style" someone with pace, stamina, work rate, a little aggression and bravery, strength...Werner is the perfect striker. Mitrovic isn't too bad but would be better with pace.

nope. no tweaks. and i should do a SUS tactic as with Fulham many points dropped in the 90th. Probably down to poor concentration and determination in the squad. For this and the Lille save, i used the "away" tactic more. as mentioned in the OP i only really used against tough away game. this time i used it when i just felt to.

I have to say, this is easily the best tactic I've used in 19.3(and I've used alot). When employed with the training, the away tactic especially just seems so dominant and satisfying. Also unlike a lot of other tactics, I don't seem to score that much from the exploits, even though they are definitely there but you aren't reliant on them. Fantastic tactic, loving it!

Dear afizzyuk,

Thanks for sharing this tactic...great results so far with Caen in French Premier league for my 1st season (2d position).

Year 2 I struggle a lot in Champions league and league with big teams...maybe due to my players. In order I can improve my team each season, could you tell me if you have filters for players attributes you can share ? Or do you have 4/5 key attributes for each position you can share with us ?

Thanks

Agree on this tactic being the best one in 19.3. I started a save in Liga 3 in Germany with a middle-table team. Won the league with no signings and sitting on top of Liga 2 after half of the next season. Being struggling lately (remember, no signings, just kept last year loans), but hopefully will make it to Bundesliga already this year. For a SUS tactic I just toggle my FBs and WBs down to support role (LB to defend).

In my other save players are complaining a lot, not satisfied with the training. This time it's almost no whining. I guess it's because my players are crap compared to the rest of the ligue and should be just happy playing for my team😅

i have exploits but i'm aware there are updated exploits? i was thinking to find the new corner exploit and add it in my Fulham save but i also understand people appreciate the fact most of their goals aren't scored that way and it still produces excellent results. I'm glad its giving you positive results!

i dont have any filters just yet. maybe i'll look to create one for people soon. i tend to look for aggression, work rate, teamwork, stamina, determination in all players

i made a couple screen shots for you. these are players who worked great for me...wingers should be fast, decent dribbling, flair and crossing. Also should NOT have "Cut inside" PPM

thanks for the positive feedback! i feel making a few signings will be important in progressing. i really feel in my Fulham save i could've won the league if i had made 2 or 3 signings that'll fit in. i'm too surprised by the less complaining. could also been down too doing a lot of teamwork in training and that increases team cohesion. hopefully you improve in your season!

ML takes left corner, MR takes right corner

DL takes left throw, DR takes right throw

i've haven't yet used them myself, but i've just added the exploit now for people who want to use it
