Northernpilgrim
If we hadn't lost at Ebbsfleet, October would have been really good and that defeat sees us fall out of the playoffs, albeit with a game in hand on most teams around us

Northernpilgrim
December was a busy month, and whilst not brilliant, wasn't awful either and that sees us enter 2030 inside the playoff places

Northernpilgrim
March results, not too bad, but the last two games have left me angry (more about this later) and the league table looks like this So why the anger? Well, going into the Bromley game, we were in great form, morale was brilliant, and after tweaking bits of the formation all season (nothing major, just one role/duty or one instruction at a time to see it's effect), we play a Bromley side who are struggling to win games (see form above), I've kept players fresh by rotating 2-3 every game, and then this happens. Their goal was their only shot of the first half, never mind shot on target) I get that these things happen, freak results, bad performance etc, but why does it always happen in an on paper easy game played right before a much tougher game against a promotion rival? If that wasn't bad enough, here are the stats from that next game away to Oxford Again, we dominated, and they have won the game in the 90th minute, having had only 1 shot on target before that. So frustrating, but I'll keep going and try to secure a top 6 spot.
Northernpilgrim
There was little to be frustrated about in April, as we responded to March's slip ups with five wins in six games and a top 6 finish is already guaranteed, and we face already relegated Coventry at home on the final day securing me a second successive Manager of the Month
Northernpilgrim
We beat Coventry, who went out with a whimper rather than a bang and ended the regular campaign in a season high third place
Northernpilgrim
We narrowly lost the first leg of the semi final away to Hull City, but more than made up for it in the second leg at Home Park, so we're ON OUR WAY TO WEMBLEY!!!

Northernpilgrim
The final was a lot tighter than I expected, and don't let the scoreline deceive you as Burton pushed us all the way before falling apart like a cheap suit in extra time

I pay about -90% to media predictions so on that basis alone you've done really well - especially factoring in England too! Congrats on the promotion, tough times ahead but you can do it - I'm just about to guarantee safety in my first Championship season I think so will send our 'luck shield' your way, not that it can have much left given how much we've used/abused it! Northernpilgrim
In the second round, we faced Tunisia and, whilst we never looked like losing it, we didn't do enough to win either, so had to rely on penalties
Northernpilgrim
The third round paired us with Germany, and injuries plus suspensions hit us hard as we were blown away and the stats show it was a fair reflection of a one sided game
Northernpilgrim
With my contract expiring at Argyle this week, and a disappointing World Cup, if I lose my England job, as stated earlier, the save will be over. If I keep my job with England, I'm going to be managing them only, and will not remain as Argyle manager. Northernpilgrim
Two more games in October, a friendly against another old rival, plus a Nations League game away from home and the Czechs shock win over Germany means that the Germans are currently in the relegation spot
Northernpilgrim
We ended the year with a routine home friendly win, plus the reverse Nations League game against the Germans Germany beat the Czech Republic a few days before our match, but only by 2-1 compared with their 0-2 defeat in Prague, meaning that defeat to England saw them relegated and us finish with maximum points
Northernpilgrim
The draw for the Euro32 qualifying campaign has given us a tasty group. Northernpilgrim
The qualifiers began with two contrasting games in March in terms of standard of opponent, but similarly dominant performances in two comfortable wins which leaves us top of the table at the end of the first round of matches
