The best thing about this is that I dropped a hint in this thread & @ham_aka_stam messaged me to thank me for the clue because it helped him get the answer and he still got it wrong :D

Erm... no you didn't.  The subject was something along the lines of "ffffuuuuuuu....."

And I'd already "sent" in the thread...

I'm guessing I barely visited OTF in February, there was only one thread I remembered. Even that one I'm not sure if I've got it right.

I must have visited the forum very rarely in February.

There are fewer days in February in fairness.

Here are those questions again:

Round 2 - FEBRUARY

1. What, in February, did @Redshift describe as "a clucking shambles"?

2. For one point, this is a close up picture of what object, and for another point, which OTF user does it belong to?

3. What happened in February that lead @MoxeysTheName to issue the following apology: "Sorry about that lads, it's just that it had been a while since me and the missus had seen each other, guess we got a bit carried away"

4. What revelation in February did @arenaross suggest would cause Tommy Robinson's head to pop?

5.  @Confused Clarity went to a student pub in February and was completely baffled when the students started doing what at the bar?

6. What, in February, did OTFers variously describe as "mind blowing", "fascinating", "cool as ****" and "incredible"?

7. Can you name any of the three video games that OTFers started a dedicated thread for in February? You have 3 guesses and will get a point for each. CLUE: Two of them are actual games, one of them I'm pretty sure hasn't been made

8. A news story concerning a Welsh man who did what with a spanner sparked a puntastic OTF thread in February?

9. @PaulHartman71 complained about an major update to which app in February which lead to him being accused of being either a porn addict or a 12 year old girl?

10. Complete the pun which earned @AJJ an impressive 19 upvotes in February. "I met a transvestite from Greater Manchester today......"

Good evening OTF, it's time for the February answers! Owing to unprecedented demand for my web analytics consultancy services (enquire within), I'm bringing this month's results to you LIVE from a dingy North London office.

We have an exciting hour or so ahead. We'll find out the answers to your questions, how well or badly you all did, and what bdcuk has done this time. Aftewards we'll have a leaderboard update and your March questions will be posted (which may or may not include a CELEBRITY GUEST).

Here we go!

Question 1: What, in February, did Redshift describe as "a clucking shambles"?

Another nice straightforward starter to get you going.

I know, it’s a clucking shambles.

It was of course the KFC chicken crisis! 13 of you are cock-a-hoop with the right answer to this question. Clucking well done to @Scott1892, @mark1985, @grff, @ham_aka_stam, @The Rebel MC, @KF1990, @Sons FC, @Semi Skilled Milk, @sebsy, @The_jagster, @Deisler26, @Confused Clarity and @Anti Spiral

9 of you failed at the first hurdle unfortunately, but kudos to @Mr_Demus with his barbarous answer of "his entire existence".

P.S. Have you tried KFC's new chips? They're clucking amazing.

Question 2: For one point, this is a close up picture of what object, and for another point, which OTF user does it belong to?

A slight clerical error here. This event happened in 2017! Whoops! However the thread was updated in February, so there!

poor thing :(

It was Bliss Seeker's broken toilet seat!

Amazingly, not including the man himself, three of you have flushed out the opposition to score maximum points here! Here are your points scorers:

2 points: @Bliss Seeker, @Mr_Demus, @KF1990, @sebsy
1 point:  @Ackter, @grff, @Sons FC, @Semi Skilled Milk, @The_jagster, @toon_84, @Pukey

Unfortunately for @Deisler26, no points were available on this question for the answer "Gizzy's anus".

I was convinced it was a toilet seat but going for Bliss was more of a gut feeling :D It rang a bell for some reason.

Question 3: What happened in February that lead MoxeysTheName to issue the following apology: "Sorry about that lads, it's just that it had been a while since me and the missus had seen each other, guess we got a bit carried away"

A cleaner has just entered my office. I'm concerned he might see my screen containing bdcuk's answers, so I have duly taken cover in a meeting room.

Onto the question then - why was our friend Moxey apologising for getting carried away?

On 17/02/2018 at 14:39, Blue Lou said:

Tremor in the UK.

Who felt that ?

On 17/02/2018 at 14:53, MoxeysTheName said:

Sorry about that lads, it's just that it had been a while since me and the missus had seen each other, guess we got a bit carried away

It was due to an earthquake in the UK! Clearly Moxey has a high opinion of himself, or is alternatively trying to tell us that he is fat. Who knows.

Congratulations to @ham_aka_stam, @Bliss Seeker, @Mr_Demus, @Confused Clarity and @KF1990 who rumble on with a point on this one.

The wrong answers have really taken an unfortunate turn in this round it seems, with @Ackter's offering of "super-gonorrhoea" being the latest in a string of concerning attempts.

Question 4: What revelation in February did arenaross suggest would cause Tommy Robinson's head to pop?

Quite a tough question and reflected in the fact that only three of you managed this one.

If you listen really closely you can hear Tommy Robinson's head popping.

It was the Cheddar Man revelation! In a shock for the far-right community, it was revealed that our farthest ancestors had dark skin.

Well done to @ham_aka_stam, @sebsy and @Confused Clarity for your head-poppingly fabulous answers here!

Due to the nature of the subject matter, there aren't many repeatable wrong answers here, but @The Rebel MC's suggestion that he may have eaten a grenade was a good attempt.

Question 5: Confused Clarity went to a student pub in February and was completely baffled when the students started doing what at the bar?

Confused Clarity very much living up to his name here, but what was it about those pesky kids that he found so bothersome?

On 21/02/2018 at 23:03, Confused Clarity said:

Just watched Mark Thomas at a theatre in Cardiff, gone in a pub near the theatre that is predominantly a student pub and one I've not been in for a while.

My mates and I are at the bar, there is space at it to wait either side and people started forming an orderly queue behind us. Like single/double file all patiently waiting.

It's wrong and I don't like it. I feel like this is a seminal "I'm officially getting old" moment.

They were forming an orderly queue! Quite disappointing how the younger generation don't agree with the dog-eat-dog world of successfully getting served at a bar.

Queuing up for a point on this question are @dafuge, @Scott1892, @ham_aka_stam, @Bliss Seeker, @Semi Skilled Milk, @sebsy, @toon_84, @Confused Clarity and @Anti Spiral

Wrong answers here suggest OTF have something of a disdain for young people... discussing beards, dabbing, vaping, eating fruit and flossing were all offered.

I wish this cleaner would **** off, I'm trying to do the quiz answers mate leave me alone!

Question 6: What, in February, did OTFers variously describe as "mind blowing", "fascinating", "cool as ****" and "incredible"

Guys - this was the coolest thing what happened all year! I'm sad that only two of you got there :(

If you don't know, Elon Musk and Space X are due to be launching their new rocket immanently, the Falcon Heavy. It is basically 3 of their normal rockets strapped together and no-one knows how well it will go. The launch was delayed but if all goes well it will take off around 8:45 pm UK time.

It was the SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch!! Admittedly Mr Musk went off the rails afterwards so it all became rather forgettable, but still!

Well done all the same to @mark1985 and @Anti Spiral for rocketing up the leaderboard with a point.

I'm currently calling for @toon_84's carer, who suggested that a giant snow penis was the reason for such amazement.

I'm giving myself a personal special bonus point for being sort of on the right lines for number 4.

I mean, I was still completely wrong, but I was in the right sort of area :D

Question 7: Can you name any of the three video games that OTFers started a dedicated thread for in February? You have 3 guesses and will get a point for each. CLUE: Two of them are actual games, one of them I'm pretty sure hasn't been made

I'm hearing murmurs of discontent over a second video game question in as many rounds. Don't worry guys, your concerns have been noted. This was tricky as, frankly, I've never heard of any of these games. But here are the answers!

Bomber Crew!

Bully 2

Age of Empires: Definitive Edition

Nobody scored more than one point here, but well done to our resident video game geeks @Scott1892, @KF1990, @Sons FC and @Confused Clarity for each scoring a point!

I should also mention that this question was the source of 2 minus points for @bdcuk. I'm not sure it's actually legal to say the names of the made up video games he came up with.

I said something to do with space for question 6, though I'd completely forgotten about the Falcon Heavy launch. Ho hum.

Yeah, I had no clue but from the descriptions used I guessed it was something along the lines of something space related.

Question 8: A news story concerning a Welsh man who did what with a spanner sparked a puntastic OTF thread in February?

This question was basically an invitation for you to go nuts with your answer.

Did someone say nuts?

On 22/02/2018 at 14:32, Confused Clarity said:

Newport fire crew cut spanner from man's genitals at A&E

Firefighters have issued a tongue-in-cheek safety warning after being called to a hospital to free a man who had trapped his genitals in a ring spanner.

The crew was called to the Royal Gwent Hospital in Newport, south Wales, to assist the red-faced individual.

They had to use cutting equipment to remove the spanner.

South Wales Fire Service later tweeted: "If you're using tools, make sure you're handling as the manufacturer recommends."

The incident happened at just after 09:00 GMT on Wednesday when a team went to the city's A&E department.

The fire and rescue service added: "Crews from Maindee and Malpas had to release a steel ring spanner from a man who took tightening nuts to a new level earlier…"

He got his genitals stuck in it! Silly boy!

Squeezing a point out of this question were @Ackter, @Scott1892, @ham_aka_stam, @The Rebel MC, @KF1990, @Sons FC, @sebsy, @Deisler26 and @Confused Clarity

Many xenophobic sheep based answers here - bad karma is coming your way! And angry Welshmen.

This cleaner has just hoovered my feet, but has yet to speak to me. :idiot:

I Demand points! I knew Sea of Thieves had a thread in February because it was released in March & Boban was getting the hype train going and i was super excited for the game.

See here:

FEBRUARY 14th!!!

SHAMBLES!!!!!!!!!

I wondered why so many of you said that! Points will be added on at the end!

Sea of Thieves became so irrelevant so quickly after release that I forgot it had even existed. I posted loads in that thread as well. :D

I went back in when they had the Giant Shark in it. The Megaladon I think it was called? But beyond that, I've not touched it much. Would play again, just needs the right group of people to play with.

Question 9: PaulHartman71 complained about an major update to which app in February which lead to him being accused of being either a porn addict or a 12 year old girl?

Firstly, it wasn't Grindr. Naughty boys! It was an app that is probably a bit "young" for us ageing folk these days, leading to poor old Paul getting a bit of a chastising.

On 07/02/2018 at 16:01, PaulHartman71 said:

This new Snapchat update is terrible, init?

On 07/02/2018 at 16:15, Vynal Seven said:

I don’t think Paul Hartman is a 12 year old girl, so he must be one of those guys that buys pornstars premium snapchat?

It was Snapchat! I remember the good old days of Snapchat. Walking down the strip in Ibiza town, asking girls to add you, just so you could send them a candid of your gonads later that night. Oh, erm, that's what I heard happens anyway.

Well done to @Scott1892, @grff, @ham_aka_stam, @Bliss Seeker, @bestbrother, @The Rebel MC, @KF1990, @The_jagster, @Pukey, @Deisler26 and @Confused Clarity for getting a rather snappy point!
