Elite Football Manager
I mean what's the purpose of a 1 match suspension due to too many yellow cards if you also have a 4-5 month injury? Case in point re: photo. Surely if I am reading this correct, he will have his 1 match suspension during the injury layoff? or is it once he is able to play again? FrazT
I have always thought that a suspension was effective for the next match that the player was available for, so it wouldnt be valid until he was fit again- I may be wrong though

Suspensions are for the coming games, regardless of injury.
Maaka
AFAIK, it's like KlaaZ says, a player's suspended for a set number of games (or a definite period of time), regardless of physical ability.
Snorks
The suspension comes into effect immediately after the game in which the final yellow card, or red card, was issued. So the next game in the affected competition is the one he is suspended for, regardless of physical ability to play. The competition specific suspensions can be fun. Get a two game suspension, miss the Saturday game, play in the big European tie on Wednesday, miss the following Saturday game. Enforced rotation!
