From Algeria to American Samoa

The competition looks small but decently fun, similar to the Northern Mariana and the like.

Mother of God, 11 seasons in 6 days. I commend you good sir. What's your addictedness rating at the moment?

The jump from Antigua & Barbuda to Argentina will be quite big as well!

Hopefully American Samoa won't take too long to cross of the list.

Hehe, having just finished American Samoa with the mightly Lion Heart today to move to the heights of Papua New Guinea, I'm gonna enjoy this. Try not to take me supporting Lion Heart against you too personally but I'm still in the midst of FM attachment to the club ;)

But seriously, good luck. And if you ever manage Lion Heart you may just about earn my backing.

Thanks sjg  I won't be facing Lion Heart in a competitive fixture any time soon though. :(

You're lucky. You're avoiding some top quality opposition there. By the time I left our side was almost competent...

Sadly I cannot describe any side which draws a game 6-6 having been 3-0 up inside 30 minutes as completely competent...

I think those results are an accurate depiction of American Samoan football, to be fair.

Everyone in American Samoa scores goals...we're top of the league with 1 or 2 games in hand but we've scored the 2nd lowest amount of goals and conceded the same as the team in 4th who've played 2 more games than we have.

We do like our 3-2 wins! We're through to the President's Cup Quarter Final where we'll face struggling Tafuna Jets and who we've just beaten in the league to keep us top of the table.

Some big wins over Tafuna Jets and we'll face Green Bay in the Semi Final, we did well in the league as well despite that 4-0 defeat where we had 62% possession and the same number of shots on target, but despite that we're now 14 points clear!

I see you're going full Kevin Keegan in American Samoa. Looking good to tick off the title, wonder if we'll get more than 2 seasons on your next stop. Keep up the impressive work as always.

Utulei Youth are like the American Samoan version of Manchester United winning 6 of the last 9 titles so it's great to knock them off their perch. ;) Andorra is next up and it may take some work to topple Lusitanos!

Thanks!

That was way too fast :D

I'm currently making a basic league structure database because I got inspired by you, and I gotta ask: What did you do with the prize money in new countries? Just leave it for the game to decide or go out of your way and actually make up amounts?

I just left it for the game to decide. I would've spent way too long trying to find actual prize money.

The club was founded in 1998 as CE Cerni. The club played the 1998–99 Campionat de Lliga, being relegated to the Segona Divisió at the end of the season. They stayed in the Second Division until the coming back in the top flight during the 2002–03 season. The club was relegated after finishing 8th at the end of the regular season.

The club suffered another relegation to the Second Division for the 2005–06 season after one year in the top division. The 2005–06 season in the Andorran Premier League was a catastrophe with only one point in 20 games (1–1 at home against CE Principat on 12 February 2006).

The following season they finished 5th in the Second Division of Andorra. The club has never stayed for two consecutive years in the Andorran Premier League, being participated in the top flight during three different seasons (1999–00, 2003–04 and 2006–07).

UE Extremenya played the playoffs for one spot in Primera Divisió after finishing third in the Second Division of Andorra during the 2009–10 season (promotion-ineligible Lusitanos B finished second). Facing FC Encamp after two games UE Extremenya lost in the aggregate of 2–5. Two years after during the 2011–12 season, UE Extremenya finished second in the Segona Divisió, competed in a two-legged playoff against Inter Club d'Escaldes for being in the Premier Andorran League the following season. The team lost in the aggregate of 0–3.
