james-99
Can you use FM18 editor data files with FM19 as i've created the folder and dropped them in but within the editor it doesn't think they exist. Any solutions?
yellowsweatygorilla
I can't get the game to load up at all if I have a FM18-converted-to-FM19 database file in the editor data folder. This is very frustrating as I've been working on this file since FM17 (adding over 1000 Canadian players, journalists, coaches etc.)
lex311085
I think you have to change it first of all to an xml file and then copy it to the 19 folder, then go into the 19 editor and import but I think loads of people are having problems getting it to load/be compatible

Maybe try loading your file, making a couple of small changes, then re-saving as a different name? Otherwise, unfortunately i'm at a loss as to what to suggest. Good luck - hope something works soon; feel your pain - the frustration was enormous when I couldn't load the data!

yellowsweatygorilla
It's definitely an issue with converting FM18 databases to FM19, as the game runs problem free if you just create a database from scratch. I even tried only importing a couple of players from an FM18 database and the game hangs on loading screen.
