With a top team you do not have to change. It therefore depends how risk adverse you are. If 1-0 in 1st leg you may want to try a SUS tactic in 2nd leg. From a tactic point of view the Volante Anchor is probably most defensive set up or maybe the 4141.

If you change roles it is an untested set up. Using a DM Away is logical, however, also be guided by how the match progresses and if you need to change from your starting tactic.

I like this table but I dont understand it 100%. It tells which tactics are best for under dogs right? Because I mean you still won CL with Volante Anchor 4222 and most of your lovely tactics so they all are good for top dogs? :-) Thanks

In general more attacking formations work better with top teams and home games. More defensive should work better with weaker teams and away games. My best results with Spurs have been with MIDSOMER 442 but a Volante tactic would be too defensive.

For top sides I would use BEOWULF 424 P106. For under dogs VOLANTE anchor.
