Some hairy moments in season two (will be having nightmares about November / December) but seems to be a tougher FM in general this year and Diablos are a thing of the past, so such is life. Still been a great LLM tactic. Besides, far more fun to get promoted at Wembley . . . II would still try 20.1 tactics and a tactic like Sicilian is 5th and only 98pts, so highest is not always best. SaxonHuscarl Posted December 7, 2019 Share Posted December 7, 2019 Hi Knap, played FM since CM1, I have always downloaded tactics rather than create my own, maybe tweak here and there etc. Have downloaded yours as well as TFF and others. It seems that over the past couple of seasons that defensive looking formations 4132 4141 seem to be the only way forward. I've just downloaded your 4231 from FM scout but not sure if it's for the latest patch.... sick of all these early patches every year tbh. Game never seems to settle until February every year, restarted god knows how many times due to patch changing everything... haven't completed a season yet ..... anyway my point.... in your opinion is a 4-1-2-3 wide or 4-2-3-1 a lot less efficient throughout the season to achieve the same result as these more defensive looking formations? In other words should I forget about playing this way and adapt to the defensive looking setup if I want to stop pulling out whats left of my hair... cheers Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
knap Posted December 7, 2019 Author Share Posted December 7, 2019 FMT is not updated and somebody has just won PL with Spurs with 101 pts with 4231 (download from list if not sure but it is only 20.1). Best way is to try defensive formation like Sympathy or Sicilian and attacking like 4231 and 424. Use them for different games as no restriction to just plug and play with 1 tactic.. First season I won everything and the league was 32 3 3 98-24 99p Second season I'm after 31 games unbeaten in the league 30 1 0 95-10 91p But I would be glad if you would giv it a go to make it for 20.2 because i love the formation.
