I tend to do well in first season but then in the next one - without any changes - I'm absolutely trashed by everyone. Weird. They always just get 6.7 style ratings. I'm winning most games, but occassionally drawing 0-0 against poor teams at home etc. I just want to try something other than these 442 types. On previous patch, AI was geting too many chances one on one positions but most of all them could not scored. At the moment with new patch, one on one positions are improved so AI scores more . Maygical Posted December 5, 2019 Share Posted December 5, 2019 Hey @knap just suggestion, tweaking defensive line and adding some additional defensive directions to MC , MR and ML ( DMC already got defensive directions) when compare statistics between old patch and new patch; count of goals are almost same but AI goals are increased average 0.5 for per match. Had so much fun with that with the 3 strikers all getting 20+ goals and the full backs getting 10+ assists each. Was a storming formation! I'd prefer to play with a dlp and bbm as oppose to a holding midfielder. Also debating where I should go with Ws or IWs and if they should be on support or attack. Lastly, would be it okay to change the mentality to cautious/defensive and use this as a SUS tactic. What immediately stood out was the long-throw set pieces which all opposition teams struggled to deal with. As far as I know this wasn't present in the WULF 4132, and it felt more like an exploit than a very strong tactic. Personally, I'm not comfortable with that and would happily sacrifice the best results if getting them meant the football being played didn't look good. Once I turned the set-piece set up off the tactics performance dipped considerably. I'd be interested in seeing how well the 4222 tests without that set-piece instruction compared to the tactics that don't lean on it. I doubt any exploit this year but set pieces have to be set up in tune with a tactic.with Because a tactic having in tune set pieces works better is the reason why you see the set pieces I use in copied tactics.
