Against smaller teams, if I'm in the lead, I just stick with it. If I'm chasing a game, I go very attacking until I get an equaliser, and go back to attacking then. Against bigger opponents I like to go defensive or very defensive if I'm in the lead with one or two goals, with 10-15 minutes left on the clock. When I'm behind, I just keep it on attacking as very attacking seems to backfire too often against stronger opponents. knap Posted January 2, 2020 Author Share Posted January 2, 2020 There are 2 worthwhile independent tests 1st is FM Base who have tested more tactics than the 2nd MR L Because I test with top, the pts total in tactic name will give an idea of what is best for top club, Top Clubs should be able to use all of the tactics. Top Club say 1-5 in League (Lpool MC etc) Sub Top 6-11 in League Underdog the rest Can also use Top and Sub Top a Home Tactic Underdog Away or Top Favourite Sub Top Evens Underdog if Underdog Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

In my Juventus save very succesful was the combination of two mentalities, with a bit of tweaking during the matchplay. I decided to pick Oxford 41221 tactic, but with lower defensive line. All matches i started with cautious mentality as default, unless the assistant recommended a change (mostly switching to positive in home games against mid-table oppontents, or worse). When i watched a match, mostly i paid attention to the shots statistics. When i saw after 15-20 minutes that my opponents getting a shooting opportunities too easily, i lowered mentality by 1, even to "defensive" in some away games. Maybe it wasn't the most entertaining football on Earth, but gave my many crucial victories, and definitely the best record of away wins in Serie A. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but finding the best partner for my offensive midfielder (Dybala) made me the biggest difficulty in Oxford tactic. Can then post the link here so everyone can always see the most up-to-date version. Can also add filters to find tactics with certain formations etc. Lists posted here they often get lost and people quote them making it more confusing. Could you please advice me fot the suitable tactic to take ?
