High scoring tactics are indicated on google docs, but for me 433 has the highest potential. I would try the tactc haxxahutc has just used.

Hey @knap, struggling to find the 4-3-3 you mentioned that haxxahutc has just used, any chance of a link to it please?

Knap tactic does it again! 1st season Champions and EL winners. CRAZY results man. used Fire and Water. NO TWEAKS! (only floated crosses) used Man Marking every game. Used Instant result every game

Key Man - Raul Jimenez (38 goals 45 starts)

MAN MARKING IS KEY!!!

this screen, i can see times lined up last match. i can see No.38 (Longstaff) is the deep midfielder on the right side so i used my left AM to mark him...I also see the LB No.28 (Rose) is very advanced so i used my RM to man mark him too...aim is to cut off their attacking supply

That man marking is working like a charm here... in combination with the Fire and Water it's absolutely amazing.

The idea with the LB & RB (if both or one of them are very active I'm gonna mark them with my ML / MR). That's just WOW! :)

You think that it would work with other tactics even better? Cause my opinion is that the Fire and Water is this years best.

Thanks.

it's hard for me.

After 30 mins and a lot of page i understand you mean gazzahutc :D

He use MM but kashmir 433 vol3 p110 EC CC is even for underdogs. For lower teams in big competition (like Fiorentina in serie a or europea cup) Which One do you think Is Better?

What do you mean for man marking? I have to select something before every games?

Training for this tactics? 2nd-coach?

@knap

hi knap, hope you are well.

im starting a new game right at the bottom of the leagues in England and was wondering which tactic would be best. I’ve been using fire 4321 as discussed previously but was wondering if this will work as I get promotions up the league? Open to your suggestions.

thanks again

I've just had my best season yet using man marking using camouflaged V2 exclusively at home (Used the 1 AM to man mark) and Mississippi 4321 exclusively away (Using the AP to man mark) using Mississippi SUS to see out games...never felt so stable in FM20 (Using FMT)...It appears to work with other tactics...As you said Solo AMAZING!

Ive just finished my 6th season with my full English leeds squad this one was the best by far winning the quadruple. this year i won the prem, champions league, fa cup and community shield. using FM20.4.1KnapKashmirVOL8DL4321P101ALLCUPS.fmf  for all of my away games and tough home games. and FM20.4.1FireandWaterVOL24321OXP105EC  for the easier home games and to give my other striker playing time too. i only lost 2 games all season 1 in the league 1 in the caraba. i made no changes to the tactics but i do my own training. My striker got in the top 3 goalscorers in all comps. both tactics good to watch. ive got a load of good quality youth players coming though and i just signed foden so ill let you know how next year goes. brilliant tactics knap. 2035945944_Screenshot(42).thumb.png.e0169e0c64e4f0ac26806ee5869a38e0.png3756188_Screenshot(41).thumb.png.103ce7fa2eab563d7f77efd532bf7ff3.png1993861106_Screenshot(40).thumb.png.0afeab67aa15dde327221a0dd5e743de.png1842685226_Screenshot(47).thumb.png.ca4f4c63fd340b37d131d95f0b9f1b6b.png906174999_Screenshot(48).thumb.png.114c92e21895837ee98b8a738dce8016.png

That tactic seems to be good for just about any side tbh

I started in non league...

and do use that one occasionally, although have had great success (4 successive promotions) mainly using Fire 4312. The latest version of that is here:

I prefer it to some others as it doesn't use inverted wingbacks and my players are that bad, they can't even spell inverted 😁

I just tried Fire&Water with Arsenal.. using shouts & even man marking when facing good sides.. The tactic is just insane if you got the right players for it.. excellent job @knap

137(!!!!) goals.. my personal record for playing FM2020. The only defeat i faced was against Wolverhampton away. I got "fm'ed" i guess..

image.thumb.png.ec4fefbdc2c11795d60100f0a706d246.png

I also won the FA-cup and EURO-cup..

image.thumb.png.867dbb3fb820a9d3c245676713511423.png

The FA-cup final was a walk in the park against Liverpool

image.thumb.png.85747dd76f696c60ade69eeee1ebb52c.png

..and so was the EURO-cup final against Sevilla...

image.thumb.png.3146c01be4555a441b5aa6a4f5aaf564.png

Now.. for the shouts.. I normally start the matches normal (without shouts or man marking).. if i feel they are putting on too much pressure or that my team cant seem to create anything i usually go with "Demand more" och "Show some passion".. it depends alot on the situations so its hard just to write and explain how i do it.. but you get the point.. If im still not able do play better i let them know in half-time.. and continues with Demand more.. If im actually playing good i go for "Praise", but just in the second half, not too early tho... Sometimes i have tried the "No pressure" also.. you can see the reaction-screen and try so say what you think is the best to get them to be fired up.. its a trial and error i guess.. it works really good when you get the hang of it...

For the man-marking i usually start the games without any man-marking.. but if i see certain offensive players getting way to many chances (i.e attacking midfielders/AMR/AML) i go in to settings and try to man mark them.. also this is hard to know if its going to work.. since you got to have good players also, its not just the plug n play.. One good tip is to actually read the analysis when the match is playing.. there you can create and learn some ideas on what you need to change or maybe have a look at..

When it comes to team talks i have been testing a couple of saves with the AM taking the talks pre match and i my self do them at HT, because when i watch the matches i can make my own oppinion on what to say.. if they are playing like crap, i let them know... because if you let the AM take the HT-talks he's usually praising or saying "do it for the fans", not an ideal idea..

Tactic i used here is the Fire&Water 4.1.0, no changes to the tactic what so ever..

ROBER GUIDE TO MARKING

RDF TRAINING

Summary by Rober

1. Get a lot of great fitness coaches, I have six. Three on each category. Put yourself and ass man at normal training categories, add 2 gk coaches for gk. If still room, find some normal coaches with model citizen personality.

2. Instead of training in position, add double intensity on individual training. Then select area which is lacking, f ex final third, that trains decisions and composure like shown here. These will increase very much. I think Almada started with 10 and 13, so +2 and still only 7months of season played.

3. This can be automated under rest in training tab. Select automation on all in individual, then they change according to his fitness levels to protect from training to hard when low fitness after matches, and get injuries.

4. If coaches have Model citizen personalities, you will also have increase in determination for many players. But not always so easy to find.

5. With this we recommend letting ass. man. handling normal training, and not combining this with other schedules, as we have hired may fitness coaches and have just you and ass man on normal categories.

Has anyone had success with this using any other team than Liverpool or Man city ?

Would love to see other teams test results if any are out there ?

I tried all the 20.4.1 versions of 4-3-3, they work with big teams, small teams not so much.

Because they are so attacking, you`ll have problems in defence, need really fast and strong tall defenders.

Wing-backs with at least 15-17 acceleration, pace and fitness.

The 3 attackers stay all the time up, need good accel, finish, composure, concentration.

That is if you wanna win something.

If you play a small team in a strong league like EPL you`ll do well but not wow well!

I suggest a good old school 451, or 442 & 4321

Actually it's not true.. they do work with small teams.. i had huge success with smaller ones too.. you cant just plug n play, its more to it than that.. :) The tactics don't need players with 15-17 acceleration, pace and fitness.. for example i played a season with Perugia, won almost everything.. my players did not have the kind of attributes you are describing.. but i did manage my games thru shouts and sometimes even OI's & Man marking... media prediction 7th

image.thumb.png.5fc0e458361a73845b4b8a3715c6d062.png

I used the offensive Tea For One 433.. its extremly good tactics when you take your time to play the game, watching the matches and make changes depending on the situations you are up against... So it's not just for top teams.

That`s not a strong league, that`s what i said!

Play that tactic with SPAL or Lecce in Serie A against all the big boys and let`s see if you win the League or the Cup!

@marksmithlfc1234

Rober may have won PL with Sheffield Uts with Original before I added man marking.

The new version won League with Notts Forrest and came 7 th with Norwich but only 59pts, so not the best under dog tactic.

Hey guys,

Which 4-2-3-1 tactic would you recommend? I've been using !!!!FM20.4.0TeaforOneUroKnap4231P100ECCC.fmf for a few seasons but the results are now declining.

Knap has shared so many tactics and I can't really figure out - Any recommendations? :)
