I had a player take a pen in a game, but the ball hits the post and rolls back past him, he doesn't react at all.

Is this the ME simulating something? Or a bug? Anyone else seen it?

A penalty taker can't touch the ball again after a penalty has been taken until another player has touched it or the ball has gone out of play. It's not a new rule, it's existed since penalties were invented in 1891.

How you getting on with Sampdoria? I'm struggling a bit, been hammered by Juve and Roma already.

Oops, sorry chap, that was one of my FMT18 saves. I've not yet settled on a team for FMT19, I'm currently just dabbling with Bayern, testing out the new tactics etc..

On FMT18 with Sampdoria I never managed to win the league, only just making the Top 4 for 2 seasons, by which time FMT19 was just around the corner.

Off I go to update my profile...

Then this was very well implemented by SI, and the ME is spot on.

I'm not sure.....I don't think footballers are clever enough to be thinking of that in real life! The most realistic reaction would be for the player to touch it and give away an indirect free kick
