A positive preseason, getting a better result than we are used to against Basel U21s. Predicted last, but anything better than that and I'd be suspicious.

No idea why Nwakali was bought by a top division team.

What an amazing start to life in the 3rd division! Started off with an impressive win, followed by 7 games without a win, before our first ever win against the Basel U21s side which kicked off an awesome 7 wins in 8 games! Safety is looking very, very possible, we could even push for the top half!

Wow, whole $650 for the best player, gotta love the board interventions :D. Some nice results anyway. Are you playing or instant resulting?

The chairman is stepping down, thankfully, so hopefully that garbage will go with him.  I'm instant resulting, then looking at all the statistical analysis as well as the goals. Despite constantly being predicted to lose, against teams rated better than us we have created 49 clear cut chances in 34 games and faced 29, so whatever I'm doing it's working :)

I have no words. An unbeaten 2nd half of the season as well as a drop in form for the team leading the at the winter break meant we rose to the top with a game to go, and a nervy final game resulted in back to back promotions!

Next Season

Honestly, if we don't lose every game I'll be very surprised. We are losing our best player in Spano, and his partner Fabbro refuses to sign either. That may change, but I don't see that happening. Our midfield will be bolstered with some f our young players reaching eligibility, but it will be a tough slog.

No real surprise eliminations here, it's good to see countries like Cyprus and Georgia qualify! Defending champs Croatia were knocked out early though.

This is where the upsets were. France, Germany and Holland eliminated by teams they were expected to beat, Poland and Serbia had amazing runs to the last 4, and Spain pick up their 3rd Euro in the last 5 editions.

I was worried we weren't going to win a league game at all! We lost our only decent midfielder Georges Amrein 4B to Luzern on a free so it was downhill from there. If it wasn't for Winterthur we'd be in serious trouble. It will be a nervy second half of the season, and I'm really looking forward to our youth intake.

2025 Youth Intake

An excellent intake, we get one, potentially two immediate starters in midfield, and also a couple of decent looking strikers where we are also lacking.

In what was the single worst seasonal experience I have ever had in any edition of this game, it's finally over. And we somehow stayed up. We were a class below everyone, yet we still stayed up. I hope next season is a little better, although I don't want to get my hopes up. We really were bad, and I think we got promoted far too quickly.

We haven't really improved since last season, and we've lost our best defender (prospect 3A), and most of our players are still considered decent for the 4th division, so we could be exceeding expectations? 8th is definitely possible, but last is just as likely. As long as we beat both Bellinzona and Cham we should be okay. But that's a big if. This next intake better be amazing.

This will be a very interesting season. With us hemorrhaging money at an extremely alarming rate, key players not willing to renew contracts, and already struggling for results, this may be more difficult than the last two.

He'd better score some goals next season!

Or rather, make a lot of assists, as goals will just cost you too much in bonuses... ;)

Seeing as he will be playing central midfield, I hope he's selfless enough to pass rather than shoot 😂

A World Cup missing the likes of France, Croatia and Chile, and featured disappointments from 2022 runners up Belgium and Uruguay. England stormed their way through the group stage, scoring 15 goals!

Argentina and Brazil had disappointing exits, and Holland needed three games of extra time and eventually finished 3rd. Italy pick up their first win since 2006.

I honestly have no words. I made a slight tweak in the tactics to make us more attacking and our results changed. We are in range of 8th, but 1st is also not far away either. It's amazing what a few good players in recent intakes can do for the team. We've also had multiple injuries to key players throughout the first half and still we aren't struggling.

I'm not quite sure how, but we have gone from 3M in the red to having over 7 million in the black. Our facilities are also superb and excellent. Do rented facilities affect development differently than if we owned superb and excellent?

Yeah, look. I don't know.

We don't know how to hold on to the ball (last in possession and passing percentage), yet we are winning the league by 14 points. I really am lost for words as to how that's possible. That being said, having watched some matches, all the possession for the opposition is just them waiting for us to crumble, and it obviously isn't happening. Just thank God for Holenweger, who's scored 13 in 15.

Can we keep this form up? I think it'd be pretty hard to lose it from here, although stranger things have happened.
