English football chiefs have condemned the "disgraceful conduct" of a group of men - thought to be England fans - making Nazi salutes and anti-Semitic comments in a video.

The Football Association said police were now trying to identify the men.

The video was reportedly filmed in Volgograd, where England beat Tunisia in a World Cup match on Monday, and has been published by The Sun newspaper.

"We strongly condemn the actions of the people in this video," the FA said.

"We are working with the relevant authorities, including the UK Police investigations team, who are making enquiries to identify the individuals involved and take appropriate action," the spokesperson added.

"The disgraceful conduct of the individuals in this video does not represent the values of the majority of English football fans supporting the team in Russia."

Ironic given all the hoopla in the UK press about this being a threat from Russian fans.

SHOCKING footage has emerged which appears to show idiotic England fans singing pro-Hitler and anti-Semitic songs at the World Cup.

The sickening video is said to portray so-called Three Lions fans in Russia taunting Tottenham and the club's supporters over their Jewish heritage.

he troubling clip came to light just two days after Spurs star and England captain Harry Kane scored both goals in the national side's 2-1 victory over Tunisia.

The opening match win also saw the North London club's right back Kieran Trippier put in a star performance.

In the video, the drunk-looking England fans chant "Spurs are on their way to Auschwitz, Hitler's gonna gas them again" before making Nazi salutes while shouting "sieg heil, sieg heil."

It is said to have been filmed in Volgograd- where Garerth Southgate's team played on Monday  -and Russian writing can clearly be seen written behind the bar.

Yeah I absolutely despise travelling England fans. They're generally just the worst people.

The truth is that this kind of incident could have happened with fans from any of the 32 nations.

Oh of course but England 'fans' cause trouble at every tournament pretty much.

In truth I half expected the first bit of negative press to come from England.

Brazilian fans made a sexist joke with some Russian female fan, they made her repeat certain Portuguese language sex-related words, Argentine and Peruvian fans did something similar too.

How funny. Noone used this motto when English media and people(on these forums, as well) time and time again were saying how racism is rife in Russia and how bad it would be during the tournament. Was it not "generalization"?
