Why is he leaving Hernandez on, he can't run and isn't going to do anything else.

Offside when the ball came back to him, wtf is he going on about. :idiot:

Remember, we're talking about a man that commentated on Robot Wars.

Just waiting for his inevitable VAR moment. Can it top his goal line technology from 2014?

Mexico keep wasting their counterattacks, they will end up punished for it. :(

Mexico finishing will be the difference between a plucky 1-1 and an upset rout. Could be 4 by now!

I hope Phil tells his strikers to put their "shooting boots" on before a match.

While it would definitely be a bit of a shock if it stays this way, I'm not sure it would be as massive as the commentators are making out. It's annoying me a little bit for Mexico to be made out as that much of a small nation in that way.

Message for Gareth. Jesus.

even Jesus is thinking "you are playing Tunisia, it's not as if you start against Argentina or Brazil"

Aye, suggesting that this would be a bigger shock than Senegal in 2002 is ridiculous.

You mean it won't be the biggest upset in the history of football?

Has anyone mentioned Sane yet? Where's he at?

I wouldn't even call this a bigger shock than Argentina vs Iceland.

(Remember: I'm the bloke who predicted a 4-0 Germany win. :D)

I think Iceland drawing with Argentina is a bigger upset than Mexico beating Germany.

Well I'm glad that's something that definitely won't happen ;)

Although it wouldn't be the biggest ever shock I haven't been as emotionally invested in a 'neutral' game in ages.

Brandt doing more in 2mins than 4 starting offensive player combined.

Muller has been completely useless for the past two seasons.

Germany have spent the first minute of injury time passing it around in midfield.

Mexico look impressive. Need to improve on their finishing but they could go far.
