Tutoring could have affected him and is the most likely explanation as it seems to have happened in about a 6 month period. Had it been an off-field event, it would have been 1 sharp decline (or increase) and if it was the squad affecting him in general, it would have been a smaller steady decline or increase, possibly over a longer period as well.
