Daniel Agger is going to try and lead Brondby to domestic and continental success. he plans to buy the best Scandinavian youngsters as well as developing players from the youth team using the clubs great facilities there are high expectations, let's hope he can live up to them
makovn
Mr. Chairman: welcome to the club Mr. Agger Agger: it is a dream come true Mr. Chairman Mr. chairman: please just call me The Dance King Agger: I am sorry, but what? The Dance King: well I would like to see myself as a direct successor to Mick Jagger. you do know that the only reason you are here is so I could do puns with your name, right? Agger: Mr . Chairman what the hel- The Dance King: I’ve told you to call me the dance king!! this is not good for my blood pressure, I think this meeting has run it course. Agger moved towards the door, he wanted to get the hell out of here but before he could The Dance King: Ohh, before you go, please informs the players that I will be doing the halftime team talks and the halftime show. Agger went back home and opened the TV, he needed something to relax. whenever he wanted to relax he would listen to Danish folk music on MTV Denmark. he switched the channel to MTV and then he saw in front of him Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera, they were already in the chorus and he could hear it so very loud, like he was in the concert “i’ve got the moves like Jagger…” it was his first day in the job and he was losing it. he crawled into a fetal position and started singing to himself the song his mother used to sing for him when he was a child. “Og det var liden Agger den unge konge så. hun lyste som en stjerne, blandt alle smukke drenge” “Og det var liden Agger den unge konge så. hun lyste som en stjerne…. makovn
Squad review Goalkeepers Ronnow is a very good player, he is young and already the national goalkeeper. he is going to be the starting goalkeeper until he starts to decline. Bellot is a backup that I hope I won’t have to use. Defenders we have three decent CB’s, all pretty similar but none are Danish, which I am not very fond of. I would try to replace at least two of them in the next two years, but for now, they are good enough Jung and Larsson are both good fullbacks and will suffice for the next few seasons, but unfortunately, Jung is a loanee so i will have to find a replacement for him next season. Midfielders all of these midfielders are good, I am particularly fond of Fisker and Christensen and believe that in those players I have a core for the next few years. strikers I really like Pukki but he doesn’t want to sign a new contract. Polish guy with the annoying name is decent and will get a chance to prove himself. I didn’t decide yet if I will play with one or two strikers. Benjoe
Cheers, @Deisler26! Will always follow Brøndby threads. Good pick and good start @makovn! What's the reason behind choosing them btw?
makovn
I wanted to manage in Denmark and I absolutely despise Kobenhaven and Brondby looked like the best club to knock them off their perch. thanks for the follow!
makovn
we made it hard for ourselves in the second leg but we managed to rally and progress to the next round. unfortunately for us, we were drawn Athletic Bilbao and it looks like we won't have European football. makovn
24th July,2017 Agger entered the Chairman's office, he knew that the chairman wouldn't like what he has to say. he didn't dare to look him in the eye while he said it Agger: Uhm, boss, the players came to me after the game against Nerdland and they said that they couldn't concentrate on the game after seeing you dancing naked tango with the coffee machine. What I am trying to say, um, that they would appreciate if you do the dancing after the games. He didn't reply, Agger knew something is wrong. he slowly gathered the courage to lift his head but he wasn't ready for what he was going to see. The chairman was wearing headphones and listening to a song while dancing Gangnam style on his table. It wasn't the horrible dancing that shocked Agger, he got used to that, it was the fact that he was dancing to such outdated songs. Agger couldn't take it, he went to the dressing room and he entered Fisker's closet, he closed the door and started humming to himself "you'll never walk alone, you'll never walk alone..." but he didn't believe himself, nor did the Chairman's assistant who was crying in the closet next door. makovn
we were terrible in the first leg and then in the second leg, we led 3-0. I believed it was possible, but it wasn't to be. at least we put in a hell of a fight
makovn
July - August this is not going very well. we are already 10 points behind Kobenhaven. we threw the lead against FC nordsjælland which from now on would be referred to as Nerdland. Kobenhaven just proved too strong for us, in the end, we were just poor vs Randers Skytte is a young player which will be rotational this season and will hopefully improve. Blaue and Kjeldsen are both young players who are going to be spending this season in the youth teams. and I managed to sign Kaka, the legendary Brazilian, he will play for us until he retires. makovn
September-October nearly a perfect month except for a loss on penalties in the cup. the early exit is disappointing and the board won't be happy, but at least we entertained the fans. the gap is down to a point but we face Kobenhaven next month and I don't think we can beat them
makovn
November-December it was not a good month and we fall 9 points behind Kobenhavn. I will have to have a tactical rethink. I expected to lose vs Kobenhavn but I wanted to take the rest of the point, instead, we dropped 4 more. Kaka, truly a magnificent player with the highlight of his career, being nominated for the Danish Superliga Autumn Player of the Year. forgot to take a picture of him before he retired P.S.- he didn't win the award
makovn
January-March we are perfect since the winter break which meant we are not that far behind Kobenhavn now. we were losing 3-1 vs MickeyMouseLand in the 80th minute and went on to win only 2 points behind and second place is pretty secure we loaned three youngsters so they will get game time and on the last day my chairman decided to sell my best midfielder against my will but i managed to loan Rice to play in defensive midfield
makovn
Youth intake Ooh, a golden generation interesting that all South Africans are 18 y/o all the nicknamed are signed and I just noticed I cut one of the players from the screenshot Jasper Sondergaard is the player missing from the screenshot above
makovn
Agger: bo- the dance king, please give me a new contract The Dance King: and why should I do that, you are not winning the league, you got knocked out of the Europa league before the group stages and lost in the eighth final of the cup Agger: Kobenhavn and Bilbao are too good for us, and about the cup I was just trying to entertain the fans, how could I know they bent thinking the same The Dance King: they scored five goals you maggot, you could have told them to start defending at any point you dit røvhul Agger: I would do anything, what if your dancing rituals will be before the games instead of after them The dance king: hmm, and... Agger: I will buy you a sexier coffee machine The dance king: done deal, but make that two coffee machines Agger: great, but may I ask, why two coffee machines? The dance king: well, let’s just say you need two to tango He smiled at Agger with his wicked smile and then Agger realized what he meant, he was filled with horror TDK(to the intercom): Karen dear, bring in the coffee machine, me and Mr. Agger have some things to go over on. Karen came in, she looked hollow, she put the coffee machine on the desk and she left. TDK: She is such a beautiful creature yet so hollow Agger: you know, Mr. cha- ahh, the dance king, I think she might be nudophobic TDK: and what does that mean? Agger: that she is afraid of nudity TDK: and how is this related Agger: well, when you dance the Boogie, naked, on your desk and you intercom her to bring in the magic broom she sees you in your full, umm, glory and it frightens her. TDK: stop talking B*****it, you don’t know how women work, you have spend way to much time with these damn footballers. Now where were we? Agger was doomed and he knew it, suddenly that window looked very tempting.
makovn
end of season update we took 4 points of Kobenhavn but we threw 11 points vs Mickeyland and Nerdland, I was fuming and still am because we lost the title on... 4 points!! my job is very insecure, but we were unlucky, we broke the clubs point record and finished second Pukki and Wilczek 64 goals between them, they deserve to get so many votes of course we were supposed to win the league

Can I ask why? (I mean, everybody should, but just if there is any specific reason behind) And what nationality do you have? Much approved first season! Especially considering you sold Hany (and signed Kaka, wth!) Insane YI just like @BoxToBox had at Brøndby. 2 Wits talents as well! Massive.
BoxToBox
I had the same issue, while I was affiliated with Wits, I'd get older lads in the intakes, not just Africans, but the odd Dane would be too.
makovn
@Benjoe well, I visited Kobenhavn a few years back and I really like it and I have always been fond of Danish footballers (the Schmeichels, Eriksen, Fischer which I used to buy a lot on previous FMs) My manager's nationality is Danish. @BoxToBox I have no idea why the guys from SA are older, but it is already a fruitful affiliation so i won't complain

It would be illegal otherwise to deal with the players iirc. FC Midtjylland has been in some trouble here do to having an academy in Nigeria (I might remember wrongly here, but pretty sure), and the ages in which they were signed and joined up with the first team. Even though they are coming through your intake they're technically sent by Wits and that makes it illegal as far as I know. Or I could be completely wrong about the legal matters - I'm not a lawyer or anything... 22 minutes ago, makovn said: @Benjoe well, I visited Kobenhavn a few years back and I really like it and I have always been fond of Danish footballers (the Schmeichels, Eriksen, Fischer which I used to buy a lot on previous FMs) My manager's nationality is Danish. Some of mine came in at 17, I think(memory is hazy though), and couldn't get work permits for a while, was bizarre, as I couldn't offer them contracts to go over the minimum wage rule. Ah. Guess they can come through, but can't get a work permit before they turn 18. So if they train or play matches, then you're in big time trouble (irl), and I think that was the case with FC Midtjylland back then. There was uncertainty whether their players had turned 18 and gotten work permits prior to training and such. 30 minutes ago, makovn said: @Benjoe I just don't like teams who dominate countries most of the times, I just hate them, hard to explain why. and i am israeli Cool! makovn
Europa League 3rd qual. round 1st leg we have beaten Macva and Gaz Metan (barely) to get here, we were drawn against Heerenveen Ooh, I fancy our chances for the second leg, we were definitely lucky but all we need is to hold on

makovn
Europa League 4th qual. round 2nd leg te 100 minutes of this encounter were without highlights, we scored and i went back to control then i went attacking again we scored again and only then did they try to score themselves, but we looked closer to increasing our lead than they were to score. i think we can progress from this group, Roma would win this group probably but i think we can beat RB Salzburg
makovn
July-August update Great two months, we qualified to Europa League group stage and had a good start in the league, the only downside was the spanking we received from Mickeyland. Mickeyland are top courtesy of the spanking they gave us, this is early to make anything from this table but Nerdland is having a mare so far. Larsson's contract was running out and i decided to sell instead of losing him for nothing as he wouldn't sign a new contract, loaned plenty of youngsters. Pukki left on a free which really was a shame. I am very pleased with the signings, still can't attract good enough players on permanent deals (with the funds i have) and good two good loanees and extending Rice's loan

makovn
September-October The loss vs Kobenhavn was expected but we probably deserved to at least score a goal. 2 good wins in the Europa League and we progressed to the QF of the cup beating Middelfart on the way. I am disappointed that we lost to Vejle and Horsens because it allowed Kobenhavn to open a small gap on us. Roma and Salzburg drew leaving us with a chance to finish first although we probably would need to beat Roma in Rome
makovn
October-December This was a brilliant month, we managed to beat Roma to qualify from first place and we battered Nerdland away from home. It's still pretty close although Kobenhavn have a 5 point gap, we just need to keep the good form going. this is a winnable tie
