Continuing my series of tactical replications ... lo and behold ... Chapter IV!

The way voting will be done this time will be a little different!

  1. First and foremost, I have selected 15 options for the community to choose for the first round of voting (8 retro and 7 modern). After that, the top 6 from the RETRO and top 2 from MODERN section will form the last 8 for PART 2, the 2nd round of voting.
  2. Second, the 2nd round of voting will help whittle down the choices to the last 4.
  3. Lastly, PART 3 will commence, choosing the inaugural winner in the grand final!

The TOP 3 “winners" will be the tactic chosen for Chapter IV, V and VI in my tactical replication series! One will be a collab with a mystery partner!

*** Closure dates for voting (IMPORTANT!) ***

Part 1 (this thread): 13 June 0530 BST

Part 2: 22 June 0530 BST

Part 3: 29 June 0530 BST

Do stay tuned by following and thank you for all of your support!

Looking forward to this, I'll throw some WC teams out due to obvious reasons, interest will be higher.

1986-90 Argentina - The most one-man team to ever win a WC, it was the best of anti-football with Diego Maradona carrying them as they won one WC and got to the next final. You've got Maradona's heir in Messi, maybe you can coax out similar results?

Total Football Netherlands - Obvious reasons

'Carre Magifique' 1984 France - https://thesefootballtimes.co/2016/06/10/france-carre-magique-1984-platini-giresse-fernandez-tigana/ Not a WC winning team but still inspired while winning the 1984 European competition, called the 'Magic Square'.

1966 England's Wingless Wonders - Can you bring it home?

1970 or 1982 Brazil - The most beautiful football ever played.

Good luck!
