Deisler26
Voltigeurs de Chateaubriant 2022 Season Review Our second season in the division went better than the previous season as we finished 9 points clear of relegation, but we also finished 10 points behind the the eventual promoted side just above us. It was an uneventful season, marked only by a game in which academy centre-back Damien Garnier scored a hat-trick, as we finished 9th in the Championnat National 2 - A. BoxToBox
Summer window is over, chucked a few backups, nothing majorly standout, bar one. Paul Bodin... Captain, team leader, been at the club since day one, but well out of his depth, so I agreed to let him go. No one bid, of course they wouldn't, a 4th div level defender, 33 years old and currently on 2 grand a week. So I offered him a mutual termination, so he can move on like he wants to. Yeesh, you said you wanted to leave a day ago.... Ah well, made your bed, now time to lay in it... The reason this is a big deal? Paul here was the last original squad player standing, now the entire squad is HG at club, and from in game intakes, not to mention entirely French/Basque. noikeee
TA Rennes - proving Zinedine Fraudane wrong Mid-season update 2021/2022 Transfers It's getting even worse. Star DM Mamadou Danfa was gone in the Summer, then they poached a kid named Killian Robic YP20E, then we also lost our starting centre-back Yvan M'Barga in November. This means we're down to 11 original players including 2 keepers. Which means we're now forced to start 1 of the rubbish kids. Or 2, given that striker Mathieu Odules later picked up a bad injury. I have something to confess. I became even more of a fraud. After an horrendous start to the season, I took the easy path and loaded up one of @knap's tactics. And surprise, surprise, we started winning. 7-0 in the cup in our first match with it. We even knocked out Laval from the cup! That being said, it's not exactly been a 100% record since and we seem to have gone back slightly in December. Currently only 7th in the league. I'm starting to lose interest in this seemingly impossible challenge tbh, and I think I'm gonna use the rest of the season just to test tactics for the next challenge - Knap's tactic that I'm using is actually bloody similar to the tactic I was using before, so I think I'm gonna try to incorporate some of those concepts in my tactic and see where it gets me (at least that way, if I play my adaptation of it, it won't feel like an easy cheat button). Here's a side-by-side comparison:

noikeee
TA Rennes - proving Zinedine Fraudane wrong Youth intake 2022 My staff tells me this is a "golden generation" but I think that's more the first team standards decreasing and making the kids look better by comparison, I'm not seeing a useful player in here. But who knows, it's at least nice to see a bunch of stars in here by contrast to previous years.

noikeee
TA Rennes - proving Zinedine Fraudane wrong End of season update 2021/2022 At some stage it looked like my remixed version of my 433 with some of Knap's ideas was gonna be amazing, and we still had the chance to pose an unlikely outside promotion bid, but then it fizzled out a bit at the end and we finished 5th again. Considering how much weaker the team is getting with all the poached players, I'm happy with the tactic. But given the squad, I don't feel I can turn this club around and make it to promotion. I think it's time to abandon France and find a new idea, I've got something brewing in my mind anyway...
noikeee
TA Rennes - proving Zinedine Fraudane wrongSeason review 2021/2022 Statistics and best 11 Top 5 players of the season 5. Cyril Durand (MC, AMC) - A more subdued season from our attacking minded midfielder. 7 goals, 2 assists, 7.11 ratings. 4. Bretly Almeida (ST, AMR, MR) - Having to play upfront with Odules injured helped his numbers to 11 goals (and 7 assists). 3. Thomas Bellier (AML, ML) - Great season from our right-footed left winger, with 9 goals and an excellent 15 assists. 2. Mathieu Odules (ST) - A superb 15 goals in just 18 starts as the Reunionese striker was injured for quite a while. We could've gone places with him fit all season. 1. Robin Le Gac (MC) - A less influential season from our Mezzala but still good with 7 goals and 4 assists and again by far the team's best ratings at 7.50. Schiavone
Bienvenue dans le NordNovember 20th, 2017 (mid season) In our second National 3 season one could say that we are repeating history. Once again ups and downs with 4 wins out of 13. Putting the team just below mid-table but above expectations (season preview: 12th - odds 80-1). It feels a bit better though since I'm confident we can avoid the 3 bottom positions and there is the fact that we get during the january window some extra youngsters we can register. If we can keep the rest of the squad together this means extra addition. Biggest problems are still up front. We lack a real striker so these positions and quality has to come from the youngsters. A bit of a gamble if one of those guys we lift the team results. Till then we can continue the current process. Maybe we also need to replace some older players at the end of the season again. Which will drop the avarege age once again and our number of players aged 20+ as well. Nevertheless a decent progress. In the Coupe de France we went out in the 8th round after a hard fought 2-3 loss against Locminé. The match also was part of our disapointing 6 game run without a win. It hasn't been our favourite competition so far… Other than last season all players still want to stay. But of course, due to having non-contracts a decent interest can move them out of the club. It's not ideal at all. On other fronts not much to mention. I'm happy that some higher division clubs are interested in my services. A promising sign for my career. Tourcoing, la créative, on y va! smp20
Une Fontaine De Jouvence D'un Nouveau Fraudeur A new fraud is on the scene and it is I. In the future, in some kind of alternative universe. @ManUtd1's Hakan Telleus taught this fraud everything he knows. After bumbling about in the obscure lower-leagues of English football with various coaching jobs, I bumped into Hakan on a pre-season camp (p*ss up) in Malmo. Damn that's some expensive beer. After a year working under the great man (not literally) I was persuaded to join the 'Academy des Fraudes' and went in search of employment in France. Where else would be more fitting than a club called 'Avant-Garde' for a follower of the revolutionary Telleus? Oh, he also told me learning Swedish would be really useful. Now I'm in France and I can't speak French but of course I can speak Swedish. Useful. We start with a squad of 13 players, 4 of whom are strikers. Charmon is picked out as the star player on the club profile, which says it all about the quality of the side. All the players are Caen born except our two lads that were born in French Guiana. We've got a brand spanking new stadium, but no other facilities to shout about. We are of course expected to finish rock bottom. Time to bring in some staff and make the most of what we've got. smp20
AG Caen - 1st January 2026 Update (Season 1) Considering our lack of quality and players I'm extremely pleased with this start. Poirier and Benoit have been leading the line and we had back-to-back impressive wins of 9-1 and 6-1 in the league early on. We then lost a centre back and a striker, and then another striker to injury, which has really challenged us. Nonetheless, we've done fantastically in the cup, with our most significant victory against higher level Le Mans. The winner was scored by a greyed out player . We've been rewarded with a tie against local top level side Caen in the 9th round - should be a good crowd for that! For some reason I'm earning a whopping £875 a week...not good for the clubs finances. Results Table Cup Transfers Player Stats Staff

smp20
End of Season Review 2025/26 For some reason the usual end of season review didn't come up, so I've had to go without it. A very respectable 4th place finish, considering every game since losing 2 players in September we've played with no subs, and often with grey players or completely out of position. I'm waiting for our latest crop of youngster to turn 26 so they can plug some gaps, but I'm highly doubtful they will add any quality. MarcxD
Season 2021-2022 First Half Getting back to this! Not great to lose another player, but he was still on a youth deal, so had no choice... The start was poor, with a loss to Bastia. But we did quite well after that, We were expected to finish 14th or so, we did much better than that. Out of the cup in the 7th round is slightly disappointing though. In sixth now, and if we can keep up some point-scoring performances we could even have a shot at a play-off spot or promotion. Could just as well drop off though!
