BoxToBox
Half way through the first season, and we've been in murderous form. Got a super lucky cup run too, with three amateur sides in a row, then smashed a 4th division side. EDIT:

BoxToBox
Youth Intake Day! Things I like: We got one with potential and some of the names are French sounding(if I remember correctly, all the names in 17 were Spanish/'Basque sounding). Things I don't like: Everything else. Could be a good one, for the lower leagues anyway.
MarcxD
Half-way first season... Games played Comfortable mid-table would be fine with me, tbh. I have about 7 players that are on paid contracts, and none of them want to renew. This might become a problem.

smp20
Footsteps of My Father: Giuly by Giuly This rather dapper gentleman is my new alter-ego for this thread. Meet Ludovic Giuly, former French International who plied his trade for Lyon, Monaco, PSG and Barcelona. At 5'4 in stature he was known in his playing days as 'The Magic Elf' - and we're going to need a touch of his magic here. Inspired by Alan Partridge's Nomad, Ludovic is going to be following in the footsteps of his father. Dominique Giuly grew up in Corsica and had a brief spell as a professional with Bastia before moving to the mainland and playing in the lower leagues. Ludovic made his debut for Monts d'Or Azergues Foot as a teenager whilst his father was in goal for the very same team. Ludovic made an appearance for the non-FIFA affiliated Corsican National Team, but having been born on the mainland he is considered nothing more than a Corsican Fraudster. Nevertheless this beautiful island is where Ludovic makes his managerial debut at the helm of SC Bastia, his father's childhood club. Interesting Giuly by Giuly Facts: 1. Allegedly had an affair with France manager Raymond Domenech's partner. 2. Had swine flu in 2009 3. In January 2013, Monts d'Or Azergues Foot named their home stadium after him Next club: Bastia Club Overview. What have I got myself into?

smp20
SC Bastia: Too Good To Be True? Club Overview Great facilities, non? We've got plenty of rivalries to keep us going, but one thing I really want to do is create a competitive rivalry with PSG. One Day. Staff Key Personnel First Team Youth & Reserves So it's looking really, really good. Great facilities for the level, a very good, balanced squad and even some highly rated youngsters too. But wait, there's a reason Bastia find themselves in this position having played in Ligue 1 last year. Finances.... Financial Mess!!! Yikes that's a lot of debt, particularly needing to pay off £425k per month. This poses a very interesting challenge. Bring it on, the Magic Elf is ready. kidthekid
Just imagine 2014 is 2017 and we'll be gold. Ok. Plans changed. I realized the problem with the save and why the fixtures did not load up, so I've started again. The new team is Le Puy Foot 43 Auvergne and founded in 1903. The manager is Devontae Johnson. How does a Nigerian end up with the name Devontae Johnson? You ask too many questions, it's not good. How did he end up in France? To attend the prestigious Hakan academy for coaches. Even got a few badges But why the mask? Surely you have better things to ask? What about your best players? Finally, something relevant

ManUtd1
July 28, 2017. Dear Diary, It was the best of times, it was the blurst of times. Hahahaha. My dream of becoming a football manager has come true. But I never thought it would be so hard. I can't sleep at night. The anxiety and tension builds with each passing day. I know I haven't written in some time. Years. I'm sorry. My hope is that, by writing down my thoughts with the passing of the days, I can find inner peace. And maybe when I'm a famous World Cup winning manager, this will serve as the basis for my best-selling memoirs! Hahahaha. But that feels a long ways off today. The players do not respect me. Our facilities are wonderful, but we've been unable to use them thus far and have been forced to train in the parking lot adjacent to the fields. The fields are right there. So close, yet so far. The club's U14 Girls' team has a tournament next weekend. "Need to train," they say. They also said many other things. Personal things, about me. Hurtful things. I ran away, crying. And, seeking to avoid further confrontation, I agreed that we would train -- only for a few days, mind you -- in the parking lot. Maybe this is why the players don't respect me. Makoto Nakamura
Mid-Season 2017/18 What a first half of the season! Our ultra wide tactic has obviously had some very mixed results but I'm happy with us trying to outscore the opponents, the highlight being a 7-7 draw against US Le Pontet and our miraculous run in the Coupe de France where we face Ligue 2 side Nimes in the 9th Round!
